Good Morning Daisy,

Again sorry to hear that you weren't able to get the help you needed yesterday. But hopefully things are just a little better today? I don't know, I'm sorry, I have very little experience with chronic migraines. Either way I certainly hope you feel better and very soon too.

QOTD: I've meet some people who say they love salads and I have always been convinced that they are lying. Eating lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, and whatever without dressing or meats is like eating cardboard to me. I hate it :/ but I would love if I liked it. If I wanted to eat a salad at lunch, I'd be so happy that I enjoyed that healthy food. Same goes for like steamed vegetables. Tastes gross to me, some people claim to enjoy them, I do not believe those people lol

Accountability: I ate a very large chocolate chip cookie last night at work. I had finished my 4 oz grilled chicken dinner, was not 100% full, and was next to the cookie case for 6 hours last night and I caved and at one at a 8pm. I was delicious but brought my daily totals from where they should have been (570/32/72) to 766/60/77

Me: Haley - 8 months post op - 143 pounds

B - Premier Protein with 2/3 cup of coffee 160/5/30

L - 4 oz egg salad w/light mayo and celery 214/2/12

D - 4 oz grilled chicken breast 140/1/26

S - 1 cup grapes 100/26/1

Totals - 615/34/69

27 years old - 5'5" tall - HW: 260 - SW: 255 - LW: 132.0 - Regain: 165.0

Pre Op - 5.0, M1 - 25.6, M2 - 15.6, M3 - 14.0, M4 - 13.4, M5 - 10.8, M6 - 13.8, M7 - 9.8, M8 - 7.8, M9 - 2.8, M10-2.4, M11-0, M12-7

Love Beef Bulgogi, it is a family favorite. Actually have a big bag marinating in the freezer waiting for arrival of my kids and grandkids. 18 days, but who is counting?

Accountability- I always find my eating and sleeping schedule to be screwed up when I have to be out in the evenings. I don't like to eat dinner early and I am a wind down person- can't just run home and jump in bed. I ended up just reading in the sauna at the gym before going out to kill time, so dinner was a protein drink and protein bar. Acceptable but Not my finest choices. Then also had a snack when I got home. When I corrected MFP this morning my calories were fine and in Maintenance range. Just this week I have 4 nights out in a row, I was out tues/wed and still have today and tomorrow to go.

QOTD: I am with Duffman on sushi. Not a fan favorite.

QOTD2: ok I forget what the actual question was but I have lots of hats, gloves, scarves... and several coats I rotate between. I have two of those thin packable down coats and they are warm.

  • Fairlife latte
  • overnight oats and protein
  • egg bake and toast
  • veggie soup
  • dinner tbd maybe chili on salad
  • protein, apple

ex: Gym - Finally practicing squats with the bar on my shoulders. They have this thing called the Smith machine that keeps it in a movable rack - it is safer when you don't have a spotter. Finally can rotate my shoulders enough post surgeries to hold the bar. Woop!

If you got a moment, would you mind sharing your bulgogi recipe? It is something I think looks amazing and want to start trying to make it soon. Thank you!!

I'm back! We decided late Sunday afternoon to enjoy the warm weather at our nearby state park. Lily and I got to walk and walk and walk on trails with lots of smells and all 3 had a great time. Accountability fair yesterday steps were good but ate 2 handfuls of almonds in the evening I did not need. Weight today 124.6. 4 miles done already in the brisk 17 degree air and will do another mile at least later. QOTD my winter wear doesn't match. Heaviest coat is a brown Carhartt and I have many hats and scarves to bundle up in as I'm always cold. I need to make sure to get my fluids in as yesterday I only hit 70 ounces. Food today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut buttet L 1 c chicken tortilla soup D 4 or so ounces baked herb and garlic tilapia S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day full of your best choices everyone!
