Re Coffee - have you considered a cold brew? Much less acidic.
1 cup coffee grounds, 3 cups water -- put in glass jar/pitcher over night (I use my french press)
Drain the coffee goodness and refrigerate; use this for your base and add cold water for iced coffee, ho****er for hot coffee and any whitener you use. It's very smooth and I find that I don't need to add anything to it. Everything I've read says it is more highly caffeinated than regular coffee though so keep that in mind....but if you're trying to decrease coffee having the extra caffeine might actually be good!

I sometimes buy cold brew from the store, especially in the summer when I drink more iced coffee than hot coffee. Now that it's cold, I like my hot coffee in the morning.
To be sure I understand about making the cold brew, you mix together a cup of grounds and 3 cups of cold water and stick it in the fridge overnight...correct? Then the next morning you strain/press it. Then you add either hot or cold water to it to drink...correct? That sounds like a possibility.

Yep, that's exactly right -- I usually leave it out on the counter to "brew" and then put the mix in the fridge after i strain it. Then I mix with ho****er for hot coffee and cold water for iced; my ratio is about 1/2 of the coffee and 1/2 hot or cold water but you'll find yours depending on how strong your coffee is. I use folgers to make mine and it's delish!

Good morning everyone! Happy Tuesday!
I woke up with a crick in my neck; going to see if I can get into acupuncture after work tonight and see if that helps. I'm not sure if it's the acupuncture that I find useful or the 30 minutes in a quiet room with the heated massage zero g chair -- either way, it does seem to work, lol.
Accountability - yesterday I left my breakfast at lunch at home, so I improvised with some of the emergency supplies I have at the office but then I came home and ended up eating an oz of cashews and an oz of pistachios that were not on plan. I did measure them thinking that delay might stop me from eating them but no.
QOTD - no trips for me, with my big move I'll be doing a staycation to get settled but I do have two long weekends planned - one with the family in Chicago in the spring and one with an old friend in New Orleans over the summer.

Good morning Daisy and Menu crew - weather is odd here as well, the wind is howling and it is 28, we got a "mixed bag" last evening of snow and freezing rain, the wind woke me up at 2 am, but was able to get right back to sleep. Big victory for me this morning, the scale moved in the right direction, I guess my body likes the commitment to basics I am doing. Small victory, but I will keep it up. I am motivated.
QOTD - We are taking a cruise to the Western Caribbean in April, we will spend 5 days with my folks in Florida and 7 days on the Cruise. ( I know I have mentioned previously). In June or September we are going to visit friends in Indiana, we met them on Vacation a few years ago and have vacationed and visited since then. They just bought a new home and had a Grandbaby, so will be nice to catch up. I believe that a Nashville visit is planned during our time with them, that should be fun.

QOTD: no trips planned here. :/ Exciting that you are looking for a new house.
Right now the short term goal that may turn into a long term prospect, is to do what I can to make my new job successful. I realized this week I will never be successful at it unless I change my mindset and treat it as a real job with job priority in my life. I don't know any of you, but I am a visual person and I have to be able to see myself doing something...and I have always thought I could do sales. Have a conference call with CEO at 9 am.
