Thank you so much Beth! I love reading about your experiences too. The truth is that we all contribute to one another, and help each other to navigate our lives as post-ops. We all have so mu*****ommon that others simply do not have to deal with! I'm so glad you're here! XOX!
I'm so happy for you!

Thank you so much! I love reading your posts and have so enjoyed watching your transformation. I think you're absolutely awesome, and am so happy about your new job! I love especially reading about your garden, come spring, summer, and fall. I'm very proud of you too - you are doing beautifully and it won't be very long before you too enter maintenance! XOX!
So happy for you Cara. You have been absolutely steadfast in sticking to your plan. All the while coming here every day, unfailingly kind, to cheer on others.
At the risk of sounding like a party pooper, you don't have to post before pictures if they make you unhappy.

Oh Jim, thank you, that is so kind of you! I really feel that this group has been hugely instrumental in this entire process for me - without all of you, my life would be much less colorful and much less supported. Thank you. I hope that this year will be a wonderful one for you, and that the gout you've had to deal with will realize it's simply not wanted, and will pack up all of it's nasty marbles and depart forever!
The Before pics will not be posted at this point, anyway. I appreciate the courage and generosity of everyone who posts theirs and understand that they're helpful to others - I just don't feel comfortable enough with what few photos of myself I have at my top weight to publish them. Perhaps in time that will change - time will tell!
Have a fabulous year Jim!
Jim, what you said about before pic was very insightful and sensitive of you! Your wife is a lucky woman.
