About 18 years ago we flew to Seattle rented a car and drove back to Chicago. I can't remember whether it was at Mt. Rushmore or Devil's tower but the whole area is surrounded by prairie dogs and you can watch them poke out of their holes.

Good morning menu friends! We made it to Friday. Lily and I had to get up at 5:30 as we have early plans this morning but we did it and have our 4 miles in. We'll do another mile before dinner too. Accountability was perfect yesterday food and stepwise both and weight is steady at 125.4 today. QOTD I too want to eat sweets when stressed and most time they're in the house for hubby and son. I just knuckle down and walk or knit(can't eat with knitting in my hands) or drink some warm fluids. Usually it works but if not I look at my before picture on the frig and remind myself where I came from. Heres food for today B 1/2 c steel oats with protein and peanut butter L grilled chicken nuggets from ChikFila D 4 oz pork loin sliced tomatoes S pork rinds. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everybody. Its the first Friday and the first weekend of 2019. I don't have a lot planned - Costco and Trader Joe's, getting my brakes fixed and hopefully going to the gym and swimming. I may swim in the therapy pool because it is warm. I know that is kind of wimpy but its sooo cold to be jumping in the cold lap pool. At least I won't be swimming laps in the hot tub.

Today is officially the 1 year mark of my first Bariatrics appointment. I think I am going to send her a note letting her know where I am numbers-wise.

Picture is at the Texas Bowl last week.

QOTD: Normally going to the gym at night. Reading also helps me to de-stress. But sometimes if having something not done is causing me stress the only way to get though it is to just buckle down and do whatever it is that I need to do.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Tuna creations

Snack: jerky

Dinner Hamburger

Have a great day, all.
