Good morning everyone! Yesterday was a good day. I have enjoyed my time off, but I am ready to get back to work next week.
I am headed into Portland to take a friend to the airport and then to Costco. It's rainy here. My husband and I talked about going to the beach for a night this weekend, but I feel like we have been bleeding money lately. So, I think we will stay home and maybe do a hike or something.
QOTD- Something that helps me is hot tea and a quiet room. A walk and fresh air do wonders. A hot bath with epsom salts and lavender helps too. I have been feeling kind of lost lately. I have adult children now and I am trying to find my way. January is always a hard month for me. I am ready for spring.
Food for today-
2 cups black coffee, 1 with Miralax
2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese with EBB seasoning
1 can albacore tuna, 2 TBSP SG poppyseed dressing, onion
naked jerky
2 chicken skewers, 1c. cabbage sauteed
Lots of water, hot tea and vitamins always
122 protein, 15 carbs, 782 calories

Good morning and happy Friday!! For a short week, this one has taken a long time to get to Friday!
QOTD - I am a stress eater/drinker. Now, I take more bubble baths, drink more hot tea, use the Calm app, and sometimes put myself to bed early if I have to because of wanting to stress eat. I also come here and read through older posts to remind myself that I'm not unique -- everyone has had to deal with stress and learning new skills. I frequently find something new to try or get some perspective based on other people's stressors.
My weekend is a mix of pre-move stuff and some fun work outs - I have a toning class tomorrow morning and then on Sunday I have balanced lotus (aerial stretching) and beginning bungee (a bungee aerobics class). I'm working through all my pre-purchased sessions at this gym before they expire/I move.
Accountability - last night I had an unplanned Clio bar -- I stopped at the grocery store and saw this; it's a hazelnut greek yogurt bar with a very thin coating of dark chocolate. It was 150 extra calories, 13 extra carbs and only 9 grams of protein. It was tasty and I'm glad I only bought the one.
Coffee + premier X2, one cup of tea with half and half and then black tea/water all day.
