What's on your Thursday menu today RNYers?
There are so many good dessert flavored ones, even herbal ones, I sometimes take them into my bubble bath like I used to do wine, lol. My current favorites for evenings are two holiday themed ones by STASH (Paris Christmas and Christmas Eve) that I found on amazon and then there's an actual teashop up in Scottsdale where I picked up a pistachio gelato tea that is so yummy.
My favorite non-herbal one is TAZO Vanilla Bean Macaron tea that I get at target.

My take on hot tea making me full : my hunger was actually my body being thirsty. Even 10+ years post op I often forget that. When I do remember that - I may drink a cup of warm tea, then decide how hungry I am. I have a tendency to eat more if I need more liquids. As if my body is trying to compensate for dehydration.
BTW: we get a lot of "liquids" from food.

I am really sorry to hear you are feeling down & overwhelmed. You are always so positive and uplifting that makes me sad you are sad. I hope whatever it is resolves soon for you, beautiful ladies should not be sad, hugs friend 
And talk about a win, girl that is BEYOND a win that you are not eating your feelings. Tell us all your secret! I am so super proud of you for this, I hope you are proud of you too, that is a major accomplishment!
Your post to the QOTD made my heart smile. WAY TO GO and CONGRATS. You have lost more than the amount of a human & a black Lab (me @ 125 lbs and my dog Oliver at 80 lbs)! I would have to say you are a rockstar!! And no disrespect to your Surgeon, I am sure he is amazing & gifted but you are sure as heck not giving the right person the credit - YOU! He may have cut your insides all up but who is the person who makes the right food choices, exercises, eats protein forward and battles her food addiction with grace & style, that would be you! Just being honest its a bit of a pet peeve of mine when I see people say that they owe it all to their surgeons. Well yes they are smart & gifted people but its US who puts in all the hard work post op. I have seen my surgeon twice since surgery, first was Nov 15th 2013 when he did my RNY and again on Nov 2nd 2017 when he did my gallbladder removal and hernia repair. He didn't do the hard work to lose and maintain the weight loss, I did. So please don't sell yourself short!

I have been around here for five years, I used to "run" the daily menu thread a few yr ago and then some crappy life events happened and I had to step away to take care of myself. But I am back now and you will see more of me and my crazy posts and pics of my dogs! LOL
