we had our surgeries two weeks apart, thats pretty cool and congrats on the weight loss! Are you able to eat more now than lets say two months ago or is it pretty much the same?

I had my surgery Sept 17th and my starting weight was similar to you...I lost 20 lbs pre surgery and about 25 since....I always worry it is going so slow but that is always my mind set...I am trying to be patient and remember it took awhile to get to the place I was before surgery too....I am working on not letting my brain let frustration or discouragement send me spiraling into old behaviours of eating junk to sooth my soul. I must admit that has been hard over the holidays. I am working hard on getting back to clean eating.

You're going to be fine. I went through stalls, a few of them actually. I just stay away from the scale. I check every few days instead of everyday and I always remind myself that I was bigger just a few months ago so any change is progress.
20lbs ps is amazing, I couldn't lose anything before my surgery. My body just wasn't participating.
We had our surgery on the same day, surgery twinning- lol. I just asked someone else this but are you able to eat more now than you were two months ago?

I had a sleeve, I can eat much more now easily 1200 ca a day. There are somethings that are a problem like rice, dence foods like mashed potatoes, (it may be that I eat mashed potatoes too fast cause I love them so much lol) I can eat about a cup of greek yogurt with thawed berries maybe 10 berries and some homemade granola on top maybe 1/4 cup. I eat this slowly but it is not a problem
dinner I eat my salad around 3 then eat my fish or chicken with my rice or potato about 5
I still find I am hungry after supper, even though I am full, does that make sense?
LA
yes it does, its a mental thing we go through, I think most people in our situation go through that. Eat a yogurt or fruits at night if you still hungry, that way it's healthy.
I can't eat much of anything (bypass). If I over eat, I regurgitate and by that I mean like more than 4-5 spoons of something. An improvement from 2 spoons two months ago. I also can't eat eggs often, they don't sit well with me.
I can't wait to have a salad. I have to wait 6 months to eat salad and I love salad. That's probably the hardest thing I have to stay away from during this time. I'm counting down the remaining two months to purchase.

I can eat almost everything, I eat kale brussel sprout cranberry salad every day. I guess its a Blessing and a curse. No wonder you have lost so much so fast!

Sometimes I wish I can eat more cause I fear losing my hair. It's going good so far but I'm not getting enough nutrients in so it's a matter of time.
I know if I could eat more, I would've lost much less so it's a blessing and a curse as you said.
Bypass patients aren't allowed to eat raw vegetables for 6 months (or it may just be a requirement from my doctors office, I hear every place has different rules). I only eat lettuce, tomatoes and corn but I miss that. I could eat a salad with those three things for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you let me.
