What are you eating RNYers? Wednesday Edition
I'm with you on keeping alcohol to a minimum. The alcohol itself is not an issue, but I always seem to eat too much or even binge if I've had something alcoholic.

I agree, I open the door to more when I allow myself to just have a bit of this or that.

Morning again folks! I am remembering that someone on here makes their own jerky. I'd like to try my hand at it since my favorite types (Stryve beef biltong & TJ's salmon jerky) are either expensive or hard to find. How do you make it? Do you use a food dehydrator? I own one but it isn't really rated for drying meat products. Before I buy a more expensive one, I'd like to find out how it works...
Thanks for any thoughts!

Good morning everyone. I feel like I am in a good place. I feel like my face looks thinner, but I am not going to weigh myself until Monday.
I am headed into Portland today with my daughter to get supplies for work and she is headed to her college to get her last parking pass and patches for her scrubs. It's her last quarter of nursing school. She will graduate in March! I am so proud of this girl!!
QOTD- I want to challenge myself this week to make more time for my husband. We haven't had a date night in a while, like a few months. We are both off wor****il next Tuesday. I feel like life gets busy and we both get into ruts. Also, continue my commitment of no wine!
Food for Today-
2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese
chicken kabob
naked jerky
1 can albacore tuna with onion, celery, capers and SG poppyseed dressing, herb feta. ( this is my new favorite)
Lots of water and vitamins on track
Good morning everybody. I'm scrambling this morning because I stayed up too late watching football and overslept.
QOTD: Black coffee. Cream pursues me like those ring wraiths chased the Hobbits. But I made it through yesterday without giving in.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: protein bar
Lunch: ham and cheese
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: steak
Have a great day, all.

Ugh Jim, I hear you. I had to stop the flavored creamer cold turkey to cut calories. Now I do one 14 oz coffee with 3 tbsp of half and half. Have you tried almond milk or something like that to at least give it a little paler color? Daisy uses Premier protein vanilla or caramel pre1made shakes to add to her coffee - I think she spreads one shake out over like 6 cups of coffee a day which adds 20 g of protein to her day! Might be an idea to consider :) I know I would really suffer without anything in my coffee lol. #firstworldproblems
