Congratulations on your new job. It sounds like something you would do well at!

We have only 2 more full days in the cold north until we arrive back in Florida on Friday afternoon. I will miss everyone and the local beauty here, but I am looking forward to it being warmer especially on the early and late walks with Justice. I am also looking forward to more routine in our days hoping it will help DH settle down.

QOTD: I'd like to challenge myself to skip the afternoon snack. I know myself enough to know that I need something between dinner and bed, but I don't really need that afternoon snack. It is okay to have when I am in my comfortable weight range, but I should skip it until then.

2 Years 9 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 2 years, 1 month)

Always lots of coffee...

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: Deli chicken

D: 1/2 burger with sautéed onions and mushrooms at $5 burger night

S: sweetened cottage cheese

I do too much unneeded snacking in the afternoon, too. I never have problems in the mornings, and i can usually control evening snacking (I can often kill cravings with hot herbal tea or SF/FF hot cocoa - and or have a small snack like light yogurt if I'm truly hungry), but I often snack needlessly in the afternoon.

ok planned everything for driving into office and forgot SHOES FOR GYM!!!! I'm so irritated right now!! So now i'm not sure what to do- I suppose I could drive home after work super quick grab my shoes, then go workout but that adds 20 min to gym then 20 min back home and I also need to plan for dinner. im not sure it will fly to not have shoes UNLESS I can find a yoga class in area- that could be an option

QOTD: for this week- food needs to stay on point- at least 64 oz water today and most of tomm.

Friday I'm off so I'm excited about that. Sat and Sunday are also free so I will be taking advantage of that and working out. MAY be adopting a new dog.

Oh I hate when I leave my shoes at home. That's why I have an extra pair under my desk in the office and another pair that I keep in the car.

I am with you on the saying no to alcohol. My first 18 months after surgery, I had zero. Then I started having 1 glass of red wine occasionally and then it became 2. I don't want that! I don't want a transfer addiction. I want to be the best me that I can be and that means zero alcohol. Stay strong!

We are very Social and most events are alcohol based, Craft beer is so heavy and hard to calculate the calories and carbs do not agree with me. I said no for a long time and will do so again. I can still have fun and socialize without it.
