What are you eating RNYers? Rockinâ?? New Years Eve edition
hi all
wow that was a log time no post situation- I actually took a week off work last week which I never do and still had to carryover time for 2019 due to not enough time to take it. The holiday went well- I did eat crappy for 2.5 days but got back on it. my 3 year checkup with surgeon is Friday !! so super stoked and hoping he doesn't yell at me for gaining weight. We will see- then meeting with NUT after for the first time- she is new.
I sucked it up yesterday and did a first round going through my pant collection. So hit me up if you are a zero, 2 or 4 and I probably have enough to send you to where your butt will never be bare... lol - I'm really not sure if I can get back into that size. Maybe the 4's.
QOTD: whoopse- looks like i didn't answer the question! I make all kinds of goals. DH and I write down things we want to accomplish each year. I'm looking to drop about 10-15 pounds more this year if i can not sabatoge myself mentally.most of my 'things' were house related this year. everything kept breaking.
QOTD: We are having a chill night- i didn't make it t gym yesterday due to car issue (DH took BOTH sets of keys, whoopse) so I need to go to that. Then I'm making smoked salmon cream cheese on some type of cracker bread for him and maybe cloud bread? for me? also bought this cheese tray at aldi so will be having lots of cheese lord help my stomach. I think there are 5 types. We were going to go out to dinner but the place would have been close to 100$ and off plan for me- with my dr office visit it just didn't make sense.
Food for today:
water
water
coffee
prot pancakes
turkey veg soup
smokes salmon/cheeseeeeeeeeee
Good Morning and Happy New Year's Eve,
We have been a bit busy the past few days but after tonight things should slow down. Thursday was our 1-year appointment with Dr. Halbert. She never once mentioned our weight loss - that is what I l-o-v-e about her. She focuses on health and not just weight loss. We mentioned that we are tired all of the time and she is sending us for more blood work. We are heading out the door soon as well a****ting the gym for the last time in 2018.
We went to Hershey after our appointment. It was freezing cold but I loved every minute of it. On Friday we went home through Lancaster, PA and did some serious shopping. There is a new thrift store there called Fashion Cents and it was full of upscale, name brand clothes. I bought 10 items for less than $40! I was in need of pants for work since I seemed to skip from a size 8 to a size 4. It was a wonderful time away and just what we needed.
QOTD: I didn't set a goal or have a resolution last year. It was the first year that I did not have the resolution to lose weight. This year I want to focus on being mindful and present.
1 year out and 163 pounds
M1: Coffee and PP shake with morning vitamins
M2: scrambled egg
M3: chicken salad
M4: ? We are going out for the night
The picture is from Hershey's Chocolate World. The place was packed!

That thrift store sounds awesome! We usually stop at one in Selinsgrove on our way to visit my sister-in-law in Dover each year, but maybe this time (not until the summer) we will make a trip to Lancaster. We love Chocolate World - but haven't been there in a few years. :)
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
I am not a huge thrift store shopper but a teacher friend told me about this find and I am so glad she did! It's not smelly like other thrift stores I have been in and the prices on the tags go down according to the date arrived and the date sold. I can't wait to go back, although I don't need a thing right now. It's definitely worth a stop!
We went into Hershey Park too. They had a sweet deal for tickets before Christmas for admission for $20! We don't do rides anymore but did manage to get on the merry-go-round and the Ferris wheel.
Happy New Year!
