I would love to join! I'll do CAMAW. I need my eggs.

My goal is to log everything and be mindful.

No wine

120 ounces water

100 protein

1000 calories or less a day

My ultimate goal is to lose 30 lbs and get to 160.

Yippee! I too struggle when I don't have eggs in my menu. I can do without dairy (except for the whey in the protein shakes) for some reason but not eggs... So glad that you are joining us!

I'm in for "back to basics". My brother isn't leaving until tomorrow so it might be a bit of a challenge until then - and then again on New Years Day since we're at an all-day party, so for those couple of days, my goal is to make good choices and not overeat. Otherwise, I am really buckling down - and for sure Jan 2-8, because there aren't any excuses that week.

my weight was 154.3 this morning. Up 4.3 lbs since last week and up 1.3 lbs since yesterday. Egad. Of course, most of this has got to be water, but still. 150 is my "oh crap" weight, so my goal is to get below that. I'm sure I can drop at least a couple of pounds in water weight in the next few days - and if I really work at it, I may be able to get below 150 again before Jan 8 - but we'll see.

I always have a minimum of 100 grams of protein, so that won't be a problem. I've had a few simple carbs this past week, but not many - but still, those will be gone. My biggest problem has been overshooting my 1500-1700 maintenance calorie range pretty consistently this past week - and all the restaurant eating. I also need to increase my fluid intake. I'm averaging about 80 oz a day - I"m going to shoot for over 100 oz.

and exercise - this hasn't been a good exercise week due to having company and also my gym and yoga studio having limited classes & hours because of Christmas. But back to it next week!

Great! Glad you are joining in! Yes, eating out can be a real killer for hidden ingredients, especially sodium. I know that you are very sensitive to that. Yes, I agree that you need to really up your fluids and for me, that helps to balance the sodium too.

As for exercise, I agree it can be tricky when life happens, but make the commitment to take a brisk walk or do some of Jen's hotel exercises (squats, pushups, planks, ?). Do it morning and evening to at least get moving a bit. You can do this!

I'm in. I'll basicially do CAMAW, but with non-starchy vegetables and some fruits. My goal is to keep calories as far below 1000 as possible (ideally closer to 800). In the short-term I'd like to drop from a current weight of 122.8 to below 120 first, then continue on to drop below 118. I know it will take time and diligence.

Great Liz! Sounds doable! We have the knowledge and the tools, but it can be really hard to stick to it. We'll cheer each other on!

I will give it another try, I messed up on the last one. Put me down for CAMAW, my goal is to get back to 160 by the end of the challenge. I would also like to increase my fluids back up to 120 oz and eliminate all sugars.

Excellent! And I'm glad you are joining in! Weigh, measure and log everything and keep sipping those fluids! Remember, you can learn from last time and put it to use now. What worked well? Where did you have trouble? And be sure to be honest with yourself and stop by to check in every day. We are in this together!

My goal is to reign in the unplanned snacks that typically occur during dinner prep and right before bed. I have a goal to not pull any of the baked items from the freezer, no trail mix, and keeping my hands out of Emily's cereal and cheez-its type of things.

Excellent! Cheez-its and Cheetos are truly EVIL! And if they are in the house, they seem to find their way into my mouth! Let's rock this thing!
