Day 1 - Post-Holiday Reset - AMAW/CAMAW
Yes, I already posted that I'd like to officially start a challenge, but I am also posting this thread for Day 1. I hope people join in for a healthy restart.
My goals are: 1) increase my grams of protein back to 100 g (shifting my protein percentage back up) per day; 2) to make sure that I get at least 120 oz of fluids per day with at least half being water; 3) to get the simple carbs out of my diet and limiting my carbs to non-starchy veg & 2 small portions of fresh fruit per day. Ideally, I'd like to also get my weight back down to 117 from 120 but that's not my top goal.
Let's do this!
HW: 248+, SW (RNY: 2/28/17): 244, GW (10/17): 125; LW: 115; 45# regain (19-20); CW: 135.6; new goal: 135; Plastics: Ext mastopexy, Ext abdominoplasty-5/18/2018; diagnosed w/ gastroparesis 11/20.
I'm in too...I am not going to do CAMAW/AMAW but I want to get back on track after all the holiday extra's.
my main goal is to kickstart my weight loss again as I've been in a sort of stall for about 3 weeks and I really want to lose at least another 11lbs before my 1 year surgiversary in February...which would put me below 160 (the surgeon's office goal for me).
My plan is to go back to basics...Protein forward, measure, weigh and track every bite, and try to keep it under 900 cals, min 70g protein and under 50 carbs per day as well as at least 80oz fluids.
I won't lie to myself and say I will start exercising daily again because I know I won't. Winter sucks and i have zero motivation...also I have a killer cold right now and I have been going to sleep before 9pm every night LOL...this will come at some point but I know I am not ready to commit to that yet.

So glad you're doing this. It is easy to fall off the wagon and not get back on. You can do this!
My only comment is that for me, by your point in your losing, I had to get alot more fluids than 80 oz to keep losing. It is important to not drink within 30 minutes after eating, of course, but I needed the hydration to keep things moving. Just my experience.

I know I need to drink more fluids...right now I am lucky if I get 64 oz a day...I think I just get busy doing things and keep forgetting to take drinks.
I am making my short term goal 80z per day and will increase from there but I am taking baby steps LOL.

Something that really helps me get my fluids in, is that I drink 40 oz of water before I allow myself coffee in the morning. Also, I keep my hydr flask next to my bed and I drink during the night.
i'm going to basically copy Amber starting January 1st, except with under 1000 calories and making a specific effort not to have coffee with cream.
No exercise commitment for me until the gout gets out of my knees.
This is my first OH challenge, I'm kind of excited about it.

I'm in for CAMAW! My goals are to drop 5 lbs before my next monthly photo, up my fluid to 120 oz (I've been failing at that lately), and up my protein to 80g. I also ruined my MFP streak because I haven't been logging. Some of that is attributed to being wya off my normal routine, but I should have still at least tracked my choices
I didn't have any gain over the holiday, but I also haven't lost much over the last month, and at not even a year out, I find that unacceptable.

Glad you are joining in! It really is important to measure, weigh and log everything to keep an eye on what is really going in your mouth. Way to go!

Yeah I'm more annoyed that I ruined a 500-and-something day streak!
