What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?
on 12/27/18 9:50 am
I got an alert from NFLshop this morning for their 75% off sale...and they do have Yeti-looking (not sure if it's real yeti or just look alike) mugs by team. I saw them when I was getting my sister's BF a hoodie from his team.

morning everyone!
I've had this page open for like 2 hours and keep getting distracted by my job LOL...
I am trying to get everything done before year end and it is stressing me out...it will be even more fun come 1/2/19 when everything starts over and people get really *****y! awesome times...
I am trying not to stress too much and just remember I am only one person and I can only do what I can do...my boss is very supportive and understanding too...I am more of a self motivator and probably expect way more of myself than anyone else does anyway.
I have definitely been eating more and wrong things the past week or so also...I am down for the challenge after New Year...I am with Kelly though, CAMAW does a number on my digestion and I can't get back to normal for weeks after...so I'll probably do more of a Meat/dairy & non-starchy veggies deal and cut out other carbs...more than that, just cut out extra snacks and get my calories back into a more reasonable range for weight loss (under 900 seems to work perfectly for me)...lately I've been averaging about 1000-1200 and even though I'm not gaining, I am not losing and I still have at least 20-25 lbs I want to get off--and I want to be under 160 before my 1 year appointment which is coming up in less than 2 months!
QOTD : I have a 40oz hydroflask that I use for water/crystal light all day--my sister gave it to me for my birthday and she made a cute applique for it but story peeled part of it off haha...also a simply modern coffee thermos (hydroflask knockoff) and both are awesome for keeping things hot/cold for like 12-24 hours. I use them both every day.
B: coffee w/chocolate Premier / & sugar free peppermint mocha creamer for flavor
1/2C cottage cheese, 1 turkey bf sausage patty
L: creamy chicken & cauliflower rice soup
S: L&F greek yogurt
D: leftover ribeye from christmas & 1 fried egg
here's a pic of my thermoses on my desk lol

Holiday greetings once again, my RnY kindred!
Thanks Janet for starting us off! I love your snowman mug!
Not much going on here today, just filling orders as usual, then going to the post office. Starting to look for a bigger place to live. I absolutely hate moving, but need more room and more privacy.
One more tribute to Zappos.com: I bought a pair of pretty Anne Klein pumps there which were supposed to arrive on the 24th. They didn't, and when I called it turned out that UPS had marked the box as damaged and was returning it to Zappos. Mind you, I had gotten a great deal on the shoes, which were on sale to begin with, plus I already had a credit on account which i had totally forgotten about, plus for whatever generous reason they gave me two $15.00 credits, so I actually only spent around $25 on them after the steal sale price plus all of the other freebies. Anyway - when it turned out they weren't going to make it to me for Christmas, Zappos made it right by resending me the shoes for free - zip, nada! And refunding me the amount I was out of pocket. Plus they re-gifted me those two $15 credits! So I am getting a pair of beautiful shoes for free, plus $30 on my account for the future. You can't beat that with a stick!
I weighed in again today at 133.0. Feeling good. I went shopping yesterday and looked at myself in the mirror as I walked by, wearing my beautiful new jeans. I looked very thin to myself, actually a rock-and-roller level of thin. My thighs and hips are thinner than I ever remember them being, even back when I was modeling in my early years. It's strange to see in a way! But I feel so good within my body - it's so incredibly easy to move around. High high heels are utterly effortless to wear, in fact they feel great and kind of bouncy. I just love to walk and move! However, I really do hope that I will see some redistribution of what fat I still have without gaining, so that my shoulders and clavicles will become a little less bony in time. Once I have plastics my abdomen should flatten out, but I will ask for a little uplift and slightly more curve to be added to my derrierre, which became bizarrely flat, so I'll probably still wear the same size pants, providing I remain very attentive and keep on the straight and narrow. I am not ****y about that at all, but I so, so want to maintain without gain. Having a BL is going to help the overall look of my upper body, too - I really miss my vanished cleavage! It used to be pretty great!
QOTD: I like cups that are bright, warm red and/or hot pink. I have several which hold 20 ounces. I do want to buy a new 24-oz travel mug, in red or pink, of course!
First: many mugs of yummy tea!
B: 4 oz. Trader Joe's Italian Style Turkey Meatloaf with tomato sauce. I like this, though it has some carbs (7 to be exact, for this serving). I stay under 30 pretty much always and mostly around 15-20.
L: Boar's Head Top Round roast beef - I find this to be very flavorful.
D: possibly some tuna - I will see. Whatever it is, it will be protein rich and low carb.
Have a wonderful day, my friends! Love to you all!
I too am struggling with being up a couple of pounds. The numbers do mess with our heads. I got some Reese's miniature PB cups and have managed to eat most of them since Christmas Day. There are a few other candies I got but they aren't as tempting to me. I need to just stay away from them.
QOTD- My favorite is a Laurel Burch Sea Goddess. Due to the gold it isn't microwaveable.
I have a call into my surgeons office, I have blood work to do but I need to know if it is fasting or not? And how much longer I have to take this Carafate. I'm thoroughly sick of it. The liquid is better than the horse pills but I'd rather not have to take it.
Dealing with stress at work, too much to do and not enough time to do it. Plus feeling unappreciated, I am not a machine and I really need a vacation. It isn't fair that because I am a contractor I do not get vacation or paid time off. The contractors outnumber the employees about 2 to 1. But our boss is always favoring the employees, or making careless remarks like schedule your vacation. Every time he talks about vacation I try to tell him we don't get any. I wish I didn't have to worry about not getting paid for being away from work. The only time I've had off is for surgery and being sick for the last 2 1/2 years. They cannot survive without us contractors, and I do the exact same job as a company employee. I'm responsible for 4 offices, everything that occurs in them, and it is too much at times. I wish I didn't live from paycheck to paycheck but I do. OK I need to quit depressing myself.
I work from home tomorrow, so less stress but I still have too much work to do.
Happy Friday Eve everyone!
