If you have Shudder or Sundance Now, those are the two streaming services it will be on in the US; it was just a sneak peak of the first two episodes for the 12/25-12/31 time frame; I think the full 8 episode season starts 1/17, so maybe target a free trial that week? I did hear that they've already ordered season 2 and season 3 so I'm not sure if each season is a book or how it's being broken up.

I'm really feeling like I need to do more accountability wise; I've gotten off track over the last week or so. So I'm going to come back and post how I did to my plan and see if that helps re-instill my discipline.

Actuals

B - 1.5 oz cheddar, 3.3 oz turkey

L - 3.5 oz turkey, 2.5 oz sweet potato mash

D - 2.5 oz turkey, 2.5 oz sweet potato mash

S - volpi

S - 3 pieces SF Russel Stover candy

1151/112/49 carbs

Also, I did not get a work out in, instead I sat at my laptop for 10 hours.

Good Morning! My brain just cannot get it straight that it's Wednesday-lol! I had a nice day yesterday as it was pretty relaxing overall. I know I am crazy, but the Christmas stuff is already put away and back in the storage area of the garage.

QOTD: It's really hard to pick one as there were some creative things John did (I love mustard and he put together a basket of all kinds of new ones to try-and he went to many places over several weeks to get them was one) and from Santa I did get my new gym bag made from a re-purposed billboard. Emily was happy with her gifts and seeing her smile is probably the best gift.

Time since surgery: 4 years 4 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Egg white Crepini with Boars Head ever roast chicken warmed up, Carbmaster cottage cheese and SF almond milk latte

D: Mikey's pizza crust (I found these when I was getting their English muffins I usually buy and I had an Ibotta incentive-thanks again Hillary for the suggestion of Ibotta!) with Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, spinach and shredded chicken, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: An hour stair climber and 35 mins of elliptical this morning

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1260 Protein:125 Carbs:96 Fat:46

Have a great one!

You have Christmas packed up already?! I can't wait to clear and clean - but Rob likes to wait until New Years day. The mustard basket was brilliant - way to go John! Also I need to see a pick of your gym bag!

Yeah, Emily always wants to keep it up, but the tree always looks so bare after the presents are gone. We don't have a ton of things we put out (we purged quite a bit when we moved) so it doesn't take long.

I also took a pic of my mustards. Don't mind my gray little photo bomber.

Mornin' All!

we had a nice couple of days, but I'm so glad to be back to my (eating) routine. It could have been worse, but still...

DH is working today and tomorrow. I'll probably do something with my mom, brother, and sister later on today. I could also stand to get some exercise...

QOTD: hmmmm....my mother gave me a bottle of good vanilla extract and a three vanilla beans, which I'd never buy for myself now since vanilla prices have gone through the roof. Not sure what I'll use the vanilla beans for - it'll have to be for something really special! My sister gave me a nice copper casserole pan which can be used both on the stove and in the oven.

3.5 years out:

B: homemade coconut Greek yogurt with 1/2 mango

MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake

L: probably homemade cottage cheese

AS: protein pumpkin pie? L&F yogurt? Not sure

D: if we stay in, maybe a small piece of lasagna. If we go out, then definitely something safe!!

You can split those beans lenthwise and add them to a small glass jar (no more than 4-6 oz) filled with a good bourbon. Look for a jar at a craft store, one that is tall and narrow enough so that the beans will be submerged in the bourbon. Wait 3-6 months, turning the jars every so often. You'll have your very own bourbon vanilla extract :)
