What's on your Monday (Christmas Eve) menu RNYers?
Just a quick pop in to get things started! I have today off and am headed to the gym for a good workout with my trainer and a few other brave souls. Then a stop at TJ's for a pork loin for today's dinner guests. It will be another busy day getting ready for a houseful!
QOTD: What did you get for yourself this Christmas? I always buy myself something special too. We bought ourselves a Flex coffee maker that can do a carafe of coffee, k-cups and a single cup of loose coffee. It is really handy and all in one machine. I also got myself 2 pairs of handmade earrings at a craft show that will match some new thrift clothes.

B1: I'm sitting here eating 2HB eggs and coffee
B2: a DD wake-up wrap after the gym plus more coffee
S: Chomps
L: leftover turkey from yesterday's dinner
S:?

Happy Christmas Eve Day Janet and Menu Family!
I think I am about ready for Christmas! I am excited. Tonight we are going to an 11 pm candlelight church service. I'm looking forward to that.
QOTD: I bought myself a few gifts, too. I bought a diamond painting kit (similar to paint-by-number only with little colored plastic rhinestone type jewels), a new bubba mug and a photo necklace of the 3 dogs. Usually Saralisa doesn't get me much, but this year she has several presents under the tree for me, so I'm intrigued.
Accountability: I kept my calories down the two days before, but yesterday they crept up again. Protein - 88, Calories - 1,498, Carbs - 202.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, cinnamon roll, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

Have a very blessed Christmas eve and Christmas Day everyone and remember the reason for the season!
HUGS to you all!

Happy Christmas Eve! Justice saw snow for the first time today! I'm not sure he likes it (too cold), LOL! This afternoon we are going to DS' birthmothers for a Christmas party. Both DS (chef) and his birthmom (loves to cook) will have made too much food.
QOTD: As mentioned previously, I got a Dyson cordless vacuum and a Simple Human kitchen trash can for Florida, though they are sort of from DH. I don't expect much personally for me this year which is okay.
2 Years 9 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 2 years, 1 month)

Good morning and happy Christmas Eve! Yesterday we did Christmas with my in-laws. My brother in law is in town from Denver and we always enjoy getting together with him. I'm sure he'll be around a few more times before he goes home. There were cookies eaten yesterday.
We ended the festivities by seeing Mary Poppins Returns. I liked it, but it doesn't hold a candle to the original. I felt like it was trying too hard to have some gravitas.
Qotd: DH and I bought a big fancy TV on Black Friday (more his need than mine!), and just Saturday I bought a new coffee machine since my Keurig died last week. I bought one that can brew a 12 cup traditional pot, or I can use kcups or loose grounds for a single cup. Seems like a popular option ;)
breakfast: scrambled eggs and ham, then coffee coffee coffee
lunch: there's a lot of leftovers in the fridge right now, so lunch and dinner will be some combination of ham, turkey, or pork chops

Ours is a Cuisinart brand--a bit spendy for a coffee pot but we got a good sale on it. I like that I can just make a simple pot of regular coffee for myself, and DH can still use kcups for his non-coffee drinks (he uses hot cocoa, teas, ect)

Happy Christmas Eve! I'll be doing a little work today from but really I'm in my hibernation mode and will enjoy today and tomorrow tremendously!
Some friends and I saw Mary Poppins Returns last night - it was absolutely delightful!!
qotd - I bought myself two light jackets/wraps since I'm always cold; some yummy tea (herbal pistachio gelato) and a book of adult brain game/puzzles.
i am making an instant pot turkey breast and goat cheese mashed sweet potatoes today so those will be on my menu frequently for the next week. Well, the turkey will be, the sweet potatoes will be on today and tomorrow only!

Good morning all! Merry Christmas Eve! First time I have been on here in forever! Life has been crazy I have taken on way to much. I do try and pop on an read when I can but even weekends I feel to busy to post. Today we are celebrating Christmas with my brother and his family. I went way overboard buying for my nieces but oh well.
QOTD: I have been enjoying a glass of Sunday lately and hubby likes beer and I have always wanted a wine and beer fridge. Well when I was at BJ's on Saturday they had one on sale for 1/2 off so I bought it. Then went out last night and bought a bunch of different bottles of white wines to fill it up! I'm so cultured now.
Food for the day:
B: coffee, bacon and banana
L & D: we are eating mid afternoon my daughter and nieces created the menu of pasta, sauce with meatballs, sausage and salad. So I will have that Oh and the oldest niece Jiy asked for french fries. So my husband said we will make her french fries.
I hope that everyone has been doing well! I have missed you all!
