I'm so glad you're here! Your story is inspirational.

....and f**k toast...it's a tool the devil uses to hook us. It seems so innocent, but toast has a "dark side". LOL!

I really try not to pounce a post about toast. My Rny really resisted it. It took me 4 years to work up to a slice.

We also always have butter know. It's a mystery.

Thanks so much for sharing your story so honestly. You are a help and inspiration to us all. And I'm right there with you fighting to stay away from the carbs every single day. Why they have to be so tasty is beyond me! I'm proud of you!

I admire your consistency. I think about you and Lily tearing it up. My dog Lucy is also 10 years old. We've taken a lot of walks. She has had weight changes with me!

I know my dog has helped me so much. me and Lucy early post op. 2008

When I learned I had kidney disease and was facing dialysis or transplant, you were the person who showed me that I could have hope of still living a healthy life.

I think of you often. You are my daily inspiration. I am still not on dialysis as this year ends. I am still living a healthy and energetic life although it now includes iron infusions and EPO.

I am still not on the transplant list. I am taking life one day at a time and know what can happen and how to deal with it. I believe that we are all here for a reason. You are the reason I am not afraid. I am so grateful that the internet brought us together.

I love this thread and all these great friends saying sweet thing.

You kick ass. Man it's amazing.

I gave EPO as a study drug. It's a miracle drug if you need it.

Thanks for being here.

YOU, are my hero.

Toast is my comfort food too. You inspired me to realize the taste of toast isn't as wonderful as the feeling of control and health. I'm so glad you returned to OH.

I wish we lived closer so we could meet and chat and laugh.

Sincere congratulations on 10 years.
