What's on your Saturday menu,RNYers?
Happy weekend to everybody! My appointment with the new bariatric program went well. For the most part, it was information that I've heard before. I am pleased, however, with the attention to detail with this program. Big differences - I need a sleep study (OHSU didn't care), they actually want to see my food log (again, OHSU didn't care), and a more forgiving/compassionate attitude.
Okay, food planning - I can do this. (Drinks more coffee)
Breakfast - scrambled eggs with cheddar
Lunch- Leftover baked chicken breast with green beans
Dinner - Whatever I put in the crockpot; I haven't found a recipe yet. Maybe oxtail soup.
S- sm sweet potato with pat honey butter
Exercise - taking the dog to the dog park (I walk laps while she runs)

Hello everyone!
I'm new to this. I just had my RNY on December 7, 2018 and today is my first day on puréed foods. Real game changer for sure.
I have felt pretty good aside from the first 4 or 5 days. This morning I made some egg creations for breakfast, however, and that didn't go very well. Chest pain for about an hour and some serious stomach discomfort. Other than that I've been great.
Looking forward to the holidays and spending time with friends and family. So far my time off work for surgery has consisted of working from home every day.
B- vegetable juice, scrambled egg creations
S- Protein drink
L- left over cream of broccoli soup, Melba toast
S- protein drink
D- puréed extra lean ground turkey, beet purée
Hope everyone has an awesome day!

Good afternoon, everybody! I was up fairly early today but ran out to get my car serviced and to do some last minute shopping. I'm now officially done shopping, although I have to bring my car back in a couple of weeks to get the brakes fixed.
Tomorrow is a big wrapping day for me. I used to consider myself fairly adept at wrapping, but now everything that I wrap looks like it was assembled by a baboon. Have I gotten much worse at wrapping or was I just delusional?
Breakfast: Ham and cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: leftover steak
Snack: Jerky
Dinner: shrimp
Have a great holiday weekend, all.
