Feeling very weak and tired
I had my surgery only 9 days ago but I too just don't feel good. I'm nauseous, tired, dizzy and in a bad mood all the time :) I had my doctor's appointment and all is fine physically so I"m not worried. Maybe our bodies are reacting to the few calories we are getting. I know if I was dieting and only taking in 400 calories, I won't be feeling very well either. I think how we are feeling is normal but hopefully some vets will reply too!

It's major surgery and takes time to recover! I was still sleeping 8-12 hours at that point ( I usually sleep 4-6). If you are concerned, talk to your healthcare team.
Make sure you are on track with your vitamins, protein and hydration also.

Those first weeks your body is going through so many changes and anesthesia is still leaving your body. Focus on getting rest, walking (not active exercise but just around the home and daily routines, resting as needed, just don't be too sedentary or bed bound because your body will recover better if you get up and move a bit but don't overdo it. Listen to your body. Remember that the guidelines are not a suggestion. You NEED tha****er. Our bodies are mostly water and water will help you avoid a trip to the ER for a banana bag or dehydration. It can happen quick and playing catch up is really hard. Take your vitamins. Protein first. (There are a lot of liquid proteins and powders on the market. Get creative if you have to but get it in for healing and energy).
You had a major surgery. The small cuts could be misleading.
Plus you may be dehydrated. When I don't drink enough liquids, I can feel really ran down.
Drink as much as you can, take power naps.
