QOTD1- No time off, working through.

QOTD2- My family used to get together over the holidays, my aunt and uncle (my dad's brother) and their kids, my brother and I were close to the same age as there first 2 kids. Also my other Uncle (my dad's other brother) played Santa one year. I didn't recognize him and was so excited. But those days are long gone. My one uncle (my dad's younger brother) and my Mom are the only ones from that generation left. My brother lives in Northern California so he won't be here. Which leaves me and my Mom. I love my mother but sometimes she drives me crazy. I can't be everything for her, and I know she is lonely. I do the best I can.

I always dread the holidays, all of the shows with the perfect happy families. They make me feel all of my insecurities. I try to ignore most of it, but on a subliminal level it gets through and I feel lost and alone.

Working from home today, Mon & Tues so I should get a lot done. Other than the usual crisis's things are relatively slow. I lose one of my favorite people tomorrow, he's moving to Southern California to his Mom's house to take care of her for a few months. She is 92 with alzheimer's and a sweetheart. But it is causing stress with his wife and she is not tolerating his Mom at all. There are 3 brothers so they move her around to take care of her, but being in her own home might improve things. I will miss him, I can always depend on him to make me laugh and take care of the problems I have with my jobs.

I meet with my counselor today which is good. It always helps!

Really foggy here, I can't even see across the street.

I'm hoping for my barn therapy with my BFF this weekend. She's been super busy so I have seen her for 3 weeks. I miss that.

Have a great Friday everyone!

I hope that you get some barn time, sounds like it would be just what you need.

Good morning~ Finally Friday!! Hopefully is will go by fast. I have a few little things to take care of this morning then a conference call and I'm off at 1pm for 12 glorious days, unless I choose to work a few - which I might...not sure yet. Is it worth using my vaca time? I sure could use the break. I have an Orthodontist appt this afternoon - shopping for wrapping supplies and groceries. I can't believe how little I had leftover from last year cuz I'm usually crazy stocked. I feel energetic today and it feels good.

QOTD - I am taking off all next week and through 1/3. Lucky Feds getting the Eve's off!! We just get the holiday. I may end up working a few days but sure wouldn't miss the commute and waking up at 5 am...hum

ETA QOTD2 - I love being with family and seeing everyone. Regardless of our relationship status we're family - like my sister who isn't coming to Christmas - I would still love to see her and will genuinely miss her. I'm sorry your family doesn't accept you completely for who you are, Janet - you're a sweetheart!

Accountability - good however - had extra pork rinds, cheese and yogurt to avoid some bad things. I'm okay with doing this for now (holidays) as I seem to be an all or nothing type cheater - I can't rein it in once I go there.

2 years 1 month out - 164.2

b- SB latte and egg bites

l - L&F Greek yogurt

d- Hot italian sausage w/peppers

es - SF jello, popsicles, pork rinds and/or yogurt if I need

v/l - on track

Have a wonderful day!!!!

Only a fraction of what we made last weekend - most of it given away TG!! More this weekend - Oh boy!

Good afternoon,

Im feeling better today. Just burning the candle at both ends lately. Staying up late and getting up early. Too much baking to do. You be proud of me, I only ate one cookie out of over 170 cookies I've made so far.

Took Misty to the vet this morning for her last shots and a nail trimmed. She's big enough to get spayed now. She weighed 3.8 pounds today and four months old today.

Qotd1 I get Christmas Eve and day off and New Year's Eve and day off.

Qotd2 spend with my family.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

the rest of the day I'm unsure of since we are having a party at work and it's support group tonight.

Have a good day
