What's on your Photo Friday menu RNYers?
I don't see a post yet so I'll get us started.
Happy Friday folks! And Happy Winter Solstice to all! Winter is here but the days will slowly become longer again! Yippee!
A special shout out to the teachers who have made it to the break! Yippee!
QOTD: for those of you who work, are you taking time off for the holidays? We Feds get off the 24th and 25th, which is nice although I was already planning to take off. At least I don't have to use my leave time. I will also be taking off the 26th and the 31st and teleworking on the 27th & 28th. It will be nice to avoid the commute for more than a week.
QOTD2: Do you enjoy spending time with family and friends over the holidays or would you prefer to just be home alone and nesting? Family time is always stressful for us, especially since most of them don't support our "lifestyle". I usually choose to play nice and go spend time anyway but it is always nice to be back home where I feel safe. We have invited our true FAMILY over for dinner parties (5 different ones) over the next 2 weeks. That I will really enjoy and savor the time with people who love and accept me.
Menu: I am teleworking today so I will have more healthy options to keep to plan.
B1: COFFEE
B2: ham
L1: TJ's chicken sausages
L2: Isopure Apple Pie protein shake (post workout), apple
S: Chomps
D: I have a TJ's roast that I may make up, otherwise salmon burgers
Exercise: a hard, heavy workout with my trainer
Edited to add my pics since it is Photo Friday!
This is our youngest cat, Pablo. He has only been part of our family for about 2 months but he has fit in nicely. He plays well with others and after living for 6 months in a shelter waiting for a Forever Home, he loves running around our house like a wild man and wrestling with the catnip banana!

Good morning menu friends on a blustery winter morning in the cornfields of Illinois! Accountability was good yesterday though I switched dinner because we went to Chikfila where I had grilled nuggets. Weight today is 126.2 again. Today is our last day working here at the distribution center. I'll miss the staff but will be glad to get back home for a while. Exercise is easier there--if it rains I can use my treadmill. QOTD I'm sorry your family isn't supportive but I'm so glad you have support and love from others to fill the gap. Families are often messy things for different reasons--none of them good. We go to our inlaws who have got to be some of the best inlaws ever. I always have gotten along with the MIL better than I did my own mother. Even though when the boys were tiny we lived half a block away from them,Joanne and Chuck never tried to tell me how to raise or care for the boys. But if you needed help with anything and called--they were right there. I guess I'm very very lucky! Lily and I have done about a mile and will do more before supper unless we're packing up to go home. Not sure if we're leaving tonight or in the am tomorrow. It depends how much ambition we have after work. Heres the food plan B 2/3 c apple crush earnest eats hot cerealL 2 slices turkey 1 slice cheese D seafood stuffed pepper from last night S string cheese sm meat stick. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone.
