Hope you feel better -- not wanting coffee is a sign of really not feeling well.

Good morning~ I can't wait for this week to be over... I am all caught up with work that needs to be done before years end and my vacation so that is great. I might work a few of the vacation days, but I don't want to actually commit so I'm leaving it up in the air. The big guy is okay with me just coming in if I want which is pretty cool. Rob's car issue was only the battery (whew) and they reported rest of his car is in excellent shape so hopefully there will be no more surprises for a while. It's weird as heartbroken as I am about my son not coming home, it also lifted away a lot of anxiety and stress - I'd still rather have him home. Feeling a bit numb about Christmas. One of my sisters not coming to our Christmas gathering at my brothers - she wont give a reason - just won't be able to make it None of us have ever 'not made' it to Christmas- ever - my entire life unless we were deathly sick or living out of state. Just sad. They are her issues not mine so I will stay on my side of the street and mind my own backyard....but it still affects us all.

QOTD - Is it weird that the though of a Santa Suit bring to mind hot, sweaty, stinky BO? haha I'd sing all day long to avoid that!!

Accountability - good!

2 years+ out 164.6 - I weigh everyday, but more importantly for me accountability wise is putting it here everyday. I hate this number but putting it here is outing myself and keeps me honest. Good, bad or ugly there it is. Mixed message thought for today - I had a really hard time getting dressed this morning again and feeling gross and fat yet Rob commented last night and again this morning about how bony I feel - ugh

b-coffee x 2, L&F Greek yogurt

l-emiepie egg salad

d-chicken breast

snacks - pork rinds, l&f greek yogurt

v/l - on track

e - not making any effort what so ever

Have a great day!

I so struggle with this too, Amy! I mean, compared to 309 lbs, can you really look at yourself on a day you weigh 164 and think you're a whale and look fat? No way in hell! But, I know when the scale is moving up, we can have that disordered self-view...and as my recent regain proves, we shouldn't just bury our head in the sand and wait until the 5 lbs is 25 lbs! I think you look gorgeous and healthy, and perhaps the rest of the month should be spent weighing and tracking your meals but perhaps not expecting loss. The holidays are just too damn hard to lose lose lose. I plan on making great choices for as many meals as possible. I know there will be pear cake once or twice...stuffing once or twice...but I am not letting that turn into "having pancakes for breakfast" or "who needs turkey when there is mashed potatoes". Hopefully you are able to make great choices for as many meals as possible and I know once we get to January 2nd, the tempting crap will be gone and it will be the normal meals back on the menu once again.

You are far from gross and fat!

Awe - thank you, Em! I remember when I was 300+ hearing thin friends say how fat they felt and I couldn't roll my eyes back far enough - it actually pissed me off that they would say this to a 300+ pound me! I get it now, it is possible to feel fat at any weight but I agree it's also crazy considering where we came from. I know I've adjusted to my new normal where I can usually dress in 2 minutes and walk out the door happy in the first outfit I put on! I know this is temporary and you are right we just need to make it through the holidays unscathed or with minimal damage! Like Liz said - 'Tis the season! I'd like to enjoy a few things but make great choices otherwise.

January 2nd here we come!!

Families can be so odd; I'm glad you're trying to let it not become your issue to deal with and I'm sorry that you have that on top of your son not being home! (I'm with you on the smelly santa suit...I immediately went to the horror stories I've heard about the inside of the disney character costumes, lol)

For the record, at the time I chose Santa Suit I was under the impression that it would be a bespoke Santa Suit created for the hypothetical challenge
