Thank you! From abusive parents to an abusive ex-husband I feel like now I am where I am supposed to be. That said, I also feel like every experience makes us who we are so I wouldn't be the me that I am without the good and bad right?

This is so true...my sister and I talk a lot about while we would like things to have been different, we like who we are NOW and where we are, and we would not be us if things were different. The good and the bad and how you deal with them make you you.

I love your QOTD... I would say first one of my greatest achievements is raising a now responsible adult as a single Mom. His resume is my resume :)

Second I would say is stepping into being President of the Board of a non-profit behavioral healthcare company at a time of great change for us as an organization and in healthcare in general. I oversaw the merger of two other agencies with us and we went from serving less than 1000 clients a year when I took over 6 years ago to now serving about 4000. One of the special projects we have is running a homeless shelter for Veteran's. We also help transition them into permanent housing. We just received what they call - zombie houses - abandoned houses from the county and are renovating them for homeless veterans and their families.

B: overnight oats, fairlife latte

L: eggs, spinach, 1 sl. toast

Both of those are amazing accomplishments. We need to do better by our mentally ill and by our veterans; it's so sad. Thank you for being a bright light in a tough situation!

good morning friends!

I was super excited, I found a little doll cradle on FB marketplace yesterday for exactly $6 which is the exact amount I happened to have in cash in my wallet...I thought I was done christmas shopping til story said she told santa she wanted a "green toy truck and a green toy bed" for her dolls...we had already gotten a truck for her barbies...but the bed stumped me! I found this little wooden cradle though, so now I just need to paint it green LOL...

QOTD: I am proud of working super hard to become a great artist. I feel like I can toot my own horn because I was not born with the amazing talent some people are, I just wanted it so badly I worked my ass off and got really good. I have the passion for sure.
I also am proud of Story of course--I went through hell, infertility treatments and IVF, possible the loneliest experience of my life, but it was worth it!...and of course my weight loss...which I am proud of but I feel like I'm not done yet and it will be a lifelong struggle.

B: coffee w/half PP/ greek L&F yogurt
L: leftover teriyaki chicken wings (4) and green beans
S: handful of green grapes, light string cheese
D: Mexican chicken burgers & mixed veggies

have a great day everyone!

I went through IVF to donate eggs to my sister. I still can't imagine going through that to actually have a child and what that must really be like. My sister and her husband tried for years, then several rounds of IVF, then I came in and was able to donate 8 eggs that all fertilized, but did not survive in utero. So incredibly sad.

Story is a miracle for sure
