What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
I can picture it. I wouldn't have been so magnanimous. I hate ppl who think the whole gym is theirs. Get your own elliptical at home if you need so much space.

OMG what a freak! Who tells someone to "move" since they are going to flail their arms and splatter sweat?! I don't know if I would have been pissed or just So. Confused.
That's an awesome goal and timeframe. And a great reason to get to goal! I have never been on a cruise. I worry I would get seasick since I have motion sickness problems (that seem to be getting worse as I age!).
He carried on for a half hour +, I was even courteous and got off the machine in 30 minutes, most days I am on it for 60 minutes. I was pissed and confused, at first I thought, oh, he is practicing as he was going slow so his feet movement could mimic a double bass drum....but when he started to tear into air guitar...well...LOL
We have never been on a cruise, we started out alone and now have 7 couples ( Friends)that have joined us and we also joined a FB group and gained some extra perks from joining a group. Looking forward to it. I love the Island vibe, hoping I do not get seasick...and we have always joked that I am "That Guy" that would try to replicate the "King of the world scene from Titanic" so Joddie will keep me away from the sides of the ship...( kidding)..LOL

I have motion sickness (and it's gotten worse as I've gotten older....and it's worse in the spring, which is strange) but if you want to do a cruise, try the transdermal scop patch and acupressure bands. I use the bands when I fly and have bonine for just in case, but the patch was new when I did my cruise this fall and it was amazing.
I've done the big cruise ship and I just used the bands but on the small cruise ship, they wouldn't have been enough. The patch didn't make me drowsy, each one was good for 3 days and it stayed on no problems. I did bring a bunch of Dramamine/bonine on the trip and when we had a stormy night, I handed it out to the non patch wearers like it was tic tacs, lol.

OMG, what a guy -- if he knows he's disruptive, instead of telling you to move before he sweats on you, he should control himself. People can be so strange.

Thanks for getting us started! About the carbs question, your protein is good and your carbs are mostly complex. The oats with honey is a big chunk of your total and if you switched that to HB eggs or other dense protein, it would shift the balance.
There is also debate here about salads and fruit while losing. It can be a slippery slope but they do provide fiber that keeps things moving! Just be mindful and be willing to adjust as needed...
As for me, I'm playing hooky and lying in bed drinking coffee. I just needed a day to crash so I am playing sick. May go to the movies today and will workout with my trainer this evening.
QOTD: I agree with Jen, growing up to be a responsible member of society. It was touch and go for quite a few years for me. Getting clean and sober (1992) and many years of intense therapy have made a big difference.
Menu: really not sure, but I've had coffee and a protein shake and my goal is to have a Chomps rather than popcorn at the movies!
