Good morning,

Well I had my colonoscopy done this morning. They found a small polyp and removed it. My dad took me to my favorite breakfast restaurant this morning.

Qotd overcoming a lot of sexual, physical, verbal and emotional abuse in my lifetime. Being able to rise out of my depression and not wanting to kill myself. In 2006, I tried three times and the last time I ended up in icu and it scared me. I'm happy to be alive. Also finding a job I love to go to after not working since 2006.

B meat lovers omelette, American fries and raisins toast.

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D hmm I have to get something out of the freezer, haven't thought that far ahead.

Have a good day

I know I haven't been on here that long, but I love reading the posts from everyone. It feels like a caring family. It's great to know what everyone successes are and how they are coping. It helps me so much!

Accountability I went off the rails a little bit yesterday. 1200 calories, 57 protein, 79 carbs, 28 fat. I will get back on track today.

I had a coworker tell me that he didn't think I was fat. Nice but I'm not satisfied where I am, he also said it is all about attitude and how you carry yourself. That is so true, if you feel good about yourself it shows. Being SMO you just want to hide and not be noticed, I didn't wear any of my jewelry or try to look nice, because I didn't feel good about myself. I was ashamed to be seen. Now I've been wearing jewelry, and trying to look good because I feel better about myself. I even want to get a full length mirror, so I can really see if what I'm wearing looks OK. I really wish I had the What Not to Wear show work with me, because I'm afraid I don't really know what looks good on me, or how to dress anymore. With some help I'll figure it out.

Have a great day everyone!

I would love to have Clinton Kelly teach me how to dress; I love him!

I am glad you are feeling better about yourself, you are wonderful! (Before I got a full length mirror, I used to take pictures of myself standing on the side of the tub because it was the only way I could see head to toe...it was not safe but it does work!)

it is seriously a dream of mine to be able to give people makeovers...I wish there was a way for me to help you guys that want help!
I have always been a huge fan of fashion (no matter what size I was) and dreamed of being a designer from about age 9.
I got to give my sister a mini makeover a few weeks ago and it was like Christmas for me LOL.

What not to Wear is also one of my favorite shows of all time LOL!

You and I are very alike, despite our age difference. I too wanted to be a fashion designer at one early point, and of course wanted to be an artist always, and work as one now.

I'm so glad you're feeling better about yourself, Julia. You look beautiful! I bought myself a large and wide full length mirror in a rather ornate, wide, gilded wooden frame. A friend of mine has an enormous similar mirror, an antique from her childhood home, that she has propped against a wall in her living room, and I always admired it. Mine is not as big nor as unique, but I really do like it. I bought it at Michael's when I lived in Santa Barbara and got it for the stunning price of $100 during a big sale. It is helpful to see your whole body in the mirror!
