G'morning all!

Was MIA last week due to some work projects and some personal stuff. But back at it and getting ready for xmas.

For those of you who gave me ideas for DH's xmas/bday gift I have an update. He recently started yoga and Pilates (in addition to his running and surfing) and I saw this whole kit gift advertised as "for the new yogi in your life"...all kinds of bells went off and I ordered it right away. He will be so happy and I'm off the hook till next year.

QOTD: I am DONE with shopping but now to decide what gets left behind under the tree and what goes into the suitcase to take with us to Italy. I'm so happy the kids are older. When they were little I couldn't hide anything in the suitcase so had to ship everything a month in advance in order for it to be there when we got there. I have horror stories about packages being late, postal strikes, etc around Xmas time.

Accountability: last week was not a good week. This week will be better.

Oh boy, here we go again Monday!

Well I am joining the club of the terrible sleepers last night...my fitness tracker seems to disagree and says I slept over 8 1/2 hours but it is a LIAR. I laid in bed til at least 11:30 because I heard DH come home from work...and then I tossed and turned a lot...woke up before 5am to pee and then never fell back asleep. I don't feel too exhausted but I dont know why I couldn't sleep because I was wiped out yesterday after BAKING ALL DAY.
We actually made less than half of the amount of cookies we normally make for our annual cookie day but my mom wasn't there so we cut back a bit...still ended up with over 400 cookies, but they are perfect gifts for neighbors & co-workers! I did make a keto Peanut butter cookie with dark chocolate chips and had 2 of them...and tried one of my SIL's Keto chocolate sea salt cookies which was tasty... I was over my calories yesterday for sure but still not terrible. Per MFP I was around 1100...I knew I'd try some things so I was OK with it. I did NOT sample any of the other sugary delights, although I the pecan turtle cookies I made looked so pretty...I just knew I would not feel well after eating it so I refrained.

QOTD: I am 95% done shopping...did almost all of it online this year- mostly Amazon...We did not have a lot to spend this year with the furnace repairs and all, but I made it work. I just got paid for that dog portrait so that will cover the remaining things I need to pick up for DH and a few little stocking stuffers.
hoping to go Tuesday after work since DH is off and I don't have to pick up story from the sitter after work. then I should be DONE. whew.

B: coffee w/half vanilla PP / low sugar oatmeal packet, small bartlett pear
L: Reuben slaw, light string cheese
S: L&F greek yogurt (if needed)
D: probably more reuben slaw--this made about 10 servings

One more thing...can you do a tutorial of what brush goes for what? I can't be the only one who looks at all the brushes and is totally confused which one to use for what part of the eye. PLEASE!

LOL...I was thinking about doing an eyeshadow one...so yes I can do that haha. I don't even know if I use the "right" brushes, but I use the ones that I think work best...so I'll put that on my list of upcoming videos!

Good morning! I hope everyone had a good weekend! I did some serious baking and candy making this weekend and BLT's a'plenty... that said - it's hard core clean eating this week cause next weekend I'm baking again with DS, then Christmas.... Oh boy. Food-wise, I can't wait until the holidays are over!!! Other than that, we watched Miracle on 34th, A Christmas Carol and a lot of NFL (sad Pats game). I didn't get any prep done or laundry for that matter - so I will be making up for that tonight.

QOTD - I have a few more things to get, but I'm not motivated at all.... I did all my 'gotta gets' and sale shopping - now its just a little things.

Accountability - Tons of BLTS baking and then made chicken pot pie that was amazing. Back to reality.
