What's on your Monday menu RNYers?
Good Morning! Happy rainy Monday. The weekend went by so fast with my hair appt on Saturday (and since it was time for color it takes about 3 hours) and then trying to finish up some crafting stuff I was working on for my employees in addition to all the normal weekend hubbub.

Good Morning Cynthia and Menu Family!
QOTD: I am pretty much done, but I always seem to buy a few more things for Saralisa before Christmas gets here. Also, her Birthday is January 5th, so I still need more gifts for that. However, the after-Christmas sales will be a good time to shop for Birthday gifts.
Accountability: I ate too much yesterday. Protein - 77, Calories - 1,484, Carbs - 196.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
Have an awesome day everyone!

Hi Cynthia!
I have done all the shopping. I am done done done. Well at least I am planning not to buy anything else. I am a little worried that the number of gifts is uneven for the kids which is a stupid thing to worry about, but you know how kids can be.
I have been seeing this new "thing" on Facebook where people buy their kids 4 things: something they want, something they need, something to wear and something to read. I could never limit gifts to only four items because I love getting them things they will like. And we don't do a lot of gifts throughout the year, so Christmas is like a big event for them.
Five years and one day post-RNY! My life has changed so much - just moving through the world at a normal size is so incredible. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how difficult X used to be, or how I never would have been able to do Y.
B: Coffee with 3 tbsp half and half and sugar-free syrup, 4 oz Boar's Head Ever Roast chicken (shaved) and 1 oz goat cheese
L: 6 Aidells carmelized chicken meatballs, cottage cheese if I need it
S: Mini peppers and mini cucumber, dipped into fat-free plain greek yogurt with dry ranch seasoning mixed in
D: Two chicken taquitos
E: A toning class at the gym!
Have an awesome day, everyone!
Happy Surgiversary!! I am behind you by about 6 months... incredible. Right?
Oh you have a true Mother's heart for these kids if you are worried about the 'even steven' gift mentality...

Thanks for the laughs!
QOTD- I have to pick up stocking stuffers, but I only have a couple of people to buy for and I love Amazon.
Accountability was good, except for a couple of Trader Joe's dark chocolate wedges. 1084 calories, 80 protein, 106 carbs, 40 fat. My weight was down .6lb and now I'm at 100lbs lost.
I too have been struggling with insomnia, I couldn't get to sleep last night. I usually have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I wake multiple times and have a hard time falling back asleep. The first couple months after surgery I was sleeping 8-10 hours a night, now I'm lucky if I can get 5-6.
I finally got out my Christmas Village and set it up. I have to rearrange the garage to get to the plastic totes, which is why I haven't set it up for a couple of years.
Have a good Monday, or as good a one as possible!
