What's on your Monday menu RNYers?
We are in the home stretch to the Holidays. One wee****il Christmas Eve for those who celebrate! Ack!
QOTD: How is the shopping going? And for those of you that don't celebrate how do you shop anyway because of the sales?
I spent 54 minutes on the phone with Macy's on Saturday, trying to order a gift....I had tried to order online but it was asking me to re-enter my card and then saying it didn't match. 5 people into the call discovered they had issued me a new card with a new number. Person number six tells me they issued a new number but never sent a card. I am not a mind reader Macy's.
B: overnight oats and protein, Fairlife latte
L: veggie soup with added chicken

Good morning!! Happy Monday. I have been up since 1:48, yay me. I have watched one episode of daredevil, done a round of work email (I enjoy emailing my boss at 3 am, don't know why), got my meditation and my walk in. So productive start at least. I have a mammogram on Friday and I'm thinking about just taking the day off and getting a jump on the long weekend.
QOTD - I'm officially done. My new goal is to not spend any money between now and the end of the year (groceries and books don't count).
Coffee + half and half; cold brew plus half and half; and tea
MS - roltini
B - 4 oz Ever roast chicken
L - take 2 yogurt
D - chicken green chile concoction (4 oz chicken, .5 oz cheddar and .5 oz sauce)
Have a great monday!

Since I was a teenager, I've always been a 3-4 hour a night sleeper; after surgery, it had gotten up to 8-12 but the last month, it's back to the 3-4. Trying to convince myself it makes me more productive, lol.
Sleep issues are no fun, I hope you get through yours! I am glad that whatever my issue is, I usually fall asleep right away, I just get a really early start on the next day! I have friends that can't fall asleep and I feel so bad for them.

LOL - Good Morning! Funnies are a great way to start off a Monday. Sorry, you still don't have a car.
We had a busy weekend. Friday night we went out with friends, Saturday morning we left the house to Walk-with-the-Doc (mall walking) and then shopped, went to my parents and shopped a little bit more. Didn't get home until 7 PM! Yesterday I got my nails done and sent DH out to run a few errands while I enjoyed some football.
Accountability: My food was all over the place this weekend so I am glad to get back to a normal schedule.
QOTD: My shopping is done except for a few gift cards.
11 months out and I didn't weigh this morning.
M1: overnight oats - oats, greek yogurt, milk and a drizzle of local honey
M2: PP chocolate shake (if needed)
M3: My adult Lunchable - 1/2 Buddig turkey package, 1oz. cheese, 6 wheat thins, 1/4 blueberries, 3 olives
M4: 4 ounces chicken with some chipotle salad
I will drink lots of water throughout the day because I was a slacker this weekend.

I know! Can't believe it's been a year already, life is so different now. My goal was 100 pounds in the first year. I don't think I will make it but I am so happy with how far I have come. Maybe I'll reach 100 pounds in year two.

Good morning, menu friends! QOTD shopping was finished yesterday. Last gift was rather lame as I had no idea what to give and was just fed up with the crowded store. Accountability was good yesterday with walk done and food on plan. Weight today was 126.4. Lily and I will walk as far as we can before dark hits after work and I'll get as many steps in as I can today at work. Heres the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 2 slices turkey 1 slice cheese D 1/2 c crab salad 3 grape tomatoes S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day full of amazing choices! Off to get a cup of coffee!
Hi!!!
So this must be a trick question??? I love to shop and am never done because I like to buy for people and the deals are just too good!!! We are planning on leaving Thursday to go to my moms for a week or so to be closer to that side of town. I will be packing up the pups and stuff and heading over. Trying super hard not to buy groceries until I get over there for practical purposes. plus she has an aldi close by so that is perfect.
I'm waiting on a few packages right now to finalize the shopping. DH's gift is actually already at my mom's asI had it shipped there on black friday when I ordered on costco website.
Weight down another pound = would realistically like to lose 5 more- then evaluate where I am physically. Feelin super strong though I weigh more and my 3 year surg was 15th Dec. My appt with surgeon is friday so really worried he will be unhappy with me. Plans for today include working, going to costco after work for gas in car and will have a 'sample' dinner I think in the store.
I could not sleep last night past 2 am so I just got up and went downstairs and baked DH some muffin top muffins- 2 kinds- apple and plain cinnamon. Instead of vegetable oil I used applesauce and I'm sure he will not know the difference. Then I prepped chocolate chip cookie dough for baking later in the week- a new recipe which has 1/2 crisco and butter, oatmeal, brown and white sugar, and baking powder and soda... we will see how they turn out. I also made protein type muffin tops for me for today also
Food for today:
coffee coffee
water
more coffee
protein pancakes disguised as muffin tops
last of rotis chicken and collard greens
random food from costco/maybe more rotis chicken
more water
not sure what else...
no gym today will just walk as much as possible.
