What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?

I was ok with the enchiladas, couldn't get past the chicken pizza crust though; that was just not right.
I might keep an eye out for the poppers if they are making them though.

Oh man, just had the pizza. No. The crust is the same as the weird 'tortilla' from the enchiladas - but worse - super yuck.
I will try the poppers tomorrow and let ya'll know.
I'll still eat the other enchiladas flavors I had but avoid the tortilla.

Happy Saturday everyone! I was up at 3 am and I am feeling so much better. Sudafed and Tylenol are a wonderful thing. I actually slept through the night last night. My strep test came back negative, so that's good.
I am hoping to head out shopping so I can be home the rest of the weekend. I love where I live, but having to drive an hour each way to get groceries gets old.
Holiday baking is on the agenda for Monday. I am going to make all of my seniors a mini loaf of cranberry orange bread, approx 35. I am also going to make a few other things. I wasn't going to this year, but a dear friend of mine is on hospice and she has asked if I could make her some fudge. How can I say no to that? I am not tempted by sweets, so it's all good.
QOTD- Myplate and FB. FB is a love/hate relationship. I always am on the verge of deleting it. But I love staying in contact with family.
Food for today-
Crack an egg cup
P2 protein pack. I love the ones with double meat, no nuts. Nuts are dangerous for me!
not sure on lunch, Ill be out shopping, maybe a chicken kabob.
Fish
Have a great day, be safe.

Hello Weekenders!
I decided yesterday after yet another lunch out with a friend that I'm only going to do one meal out per week (although I'll probably have to backtrack on that during Christmas week since my brother will be here). It's back to mostly coffee dates (or afternoon tea dates). It is too hard to keep a lid on my weight with all these meal- oriented social engagements. So there!
Went to my usual early morning yoga class and am now at a coffee shop with DH. Not sure what's on tap for today other than we really need to get the Christmas stuff squared away. We were invited to this cookie party tonight which i might skip - although eating more than a couple of cookies throws me into RH, so I might be ok. But I'll think about it. We were talking about going to a coffee place later tonight that'll have live music. Might be good to go to - I was getting pretty bored last night and i need to keep myself occupied.
QOTD I really don't use apps that often because I find doing things on my phone too frustrating. It's too small. I usually have my tablet with me and use that instead (or if I'm home, I use my laptop). Phone is good for a quick email or text, though.
3.5 years out
B: homemade coconut Greek yogurt, 1/2 mango
Ms: coffee with half and half, protein bar
L : either emiepie egg salad in a flat out wrap or cottage cheese
As: hummus with baby carrots
D: leftover pork taco. Or Turkey meatballs

Hello RnY weekenders! Happy Saturday!
Thank you, Jen, for starting us off.
I managed to pull back my calories yesterday from the excessive consumption I indulged in on Thursday night, going back down to 662. However, it was a heavy day for a number of reasons, and when I peeled off my tights and leggings at the end of the night, I could see that I was definitely retaining water. Today I can't see that, but the scale was up an additional .6 of a pound over yesterday's 135. I don't always understand why that happens. But it's okay. I am no longer hungry - real hunger is a warning for me always, if I don't satisfy it I can hold out for a few days, but will eventually cave in. I'd been hungry for several days before overeating Thursday night. Anyway I'm just going to keep on keeping on, and though I'm up a bit this morning again to 135.6, it cannot last. I will allow myself a ceiling of 675 calories instead of 650. I want to start having slightly more calories because 650, while it's been great all these months and has been effective for my weight loss, really is too low for a forever level of intake. Not sure where I'll end up calorically but there's plenty of time to figure that out. First order of business is to see if I can't actually reach this goal of 127 I set for myself as marking the point at which I will enter maintenance, which I can see will require very careful balancing.
QOTD: I enjoy Word Streak, which is like Boggle. I like it more than Words with Friends, which I also like. Scrabble in person is more fun to me. I have also in the past loved some of the art/drawing game apps, but haven't played in a few years and no longer have any on my phone. The Night Sky is a very cool app for identifying the constellations.. And I want to buy a good birding app - I'm not a birder per se, but like to watch them and it would be cool to be able to identify them while I'm out and about. Otherwise I use field guides when I get back home. And I would probably still be tangled up in traffic somewhere random if not for my maps/driving apps - those are worth gold!
First: several huge mugs of tea
B: tuna, a little of that good Sartori espresso Bellavitano cheese (my current favorite)
L: I want some beef. Not sure what I'll make but the pressure cooker is ready.
D: salmon!
Have yourselves some fun today, kids!

Which mapping apps do you use? I use mapquest but I'm in a minority; a lot of people seem to be Waze devotees. I have tried google maps and I hate it.

Mostly I just use the Maps app that came preloaded on m iPhone 8, whatever that is. I like it, it doesn't steer me wrong, and I get to choose the voice Siri uses (currently an Australian guy!). I have Waze too and do like how it reroutes me around traffic jams. It seems to stay very current. But it has on occasion instructed me to take turns and on ramps which logically should be there, but aren't. The reason I don't use Waze more is because if I get a phone call or listen to music or a book on my phone, Waze stops giving verbal directions, and I have pick up the phone to view what's coming on the screen. I know I can start the sound again, but it is inconvenient to fumble with the phone to do that while I'm driving. Additionally, it's hard to close the app once launched - it just keeps talking. There's probably a way to set and forget these things so they don't happen, but I have yet to investigate how to do so. By contrast, the other app will simply interrupt and will lower the volume of music while alerting me to a turn, lane advice, etc. And it will be there talking to me when a phone call ends, and it closes when I instruct it to close.
