This is why many people here tried to convince you not to donate blood. Once your ferritin tanks, it is hard to get it back up. You may want to see a hematologist and ask about an infusion before you get pregnant.

Congrats on your success!! With a ferritin level so low, it will be difficult to raise it up with supplements alone. I had to have iron infusions when mine was that low. Since you are wanting to get pregnant, I would definitely see about getting infusions to get the iron back up because pregnancy is tough on iron levels. Mine tanked with both of my pregnancies and that was before I had WLS. Good luck on your journey to become a mom.
Thank you! He wants to do the supplement first but have labs redrawn in 3 months. He defiantly isnt oposed to doing the infusion tho
