2 days post-op and very uncomfortable
Had my surgery on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 and I'm in a lot of discomfort. I've stopped taking my pain meds as they had some really bad side effects that I'd rather avoid. How long before the cramping feeling will go away? I'm also having problems getting down all the liquids and the vitamins. Just need some encouraging words from those of you who are past this stage :)

If you mean the gassy feeling, it takes a bit of time, just walk, walk, walk; sip, sip, sip -- you'll be through this in no time. It is hard the first couple of days with the liquids, etc. Just drink like it's your job and you'll gradually be able to tolerate more.
If you're in actual pain or you're vomiting, running a fever, anything like that, that's a different story and you need to call your health care team.

It's ok to be a bit of a baby, you had major surgery. Walking, changing position, etc help with moving the gas out but it just takes time!

Oh I totally remember being 2 days post op and having moments of buyers remorse because of the pain/discomfort, but by my 1 week mark that was pretty much gone for me. Feeling tired and emotional lasted for a couple of months, but the discomfort goes away pretty quick.
Good luck!

Sorry to hear that you are having some rough days. Of course, if the pain is severe or gets worse it's always a good idea to run your symptoms by your surgical team. As others have mentioned, the has pains were the worst for me and walking was the only thing that helped. Sip and walk like it's your job cause it is! Best of luck and hope you feel better soon.
