Good Morning and Happy Fri-eve indeed! Thanks for getting us up and running! My plan for the day is to knock out a few more of the performance reviews I need to complete in between a few conference calls.

QOTD: I really try and not plan too many calls or long meetings towards the end the week and be more "mobile" in the office.

Time since surgery: 4 years 4 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Simply protein chips and carbmaster yogurt

D: Eggbeaters, sausage, Mikey's English muffin, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1257 Protein:121 Carbs:95 Fat:47

Have a great one!

I think being on lock down in a conference room for three days might be part of my energy dip. I'm working from home tomorrow and I'm going to get up and walk before I log on so that will help.

good morning everyone!

I am joining the consensus that this week is the longest ever! WHY is it not friday yet?!

I had a hard time falling asleep last night which doesn't happen to me a lot...so I watched Dumpling on Netflix. this movie was so cute, and it totally appealed to my chubby teenage self. sooo relatable. Also, for the first time since surgery, I actually missed being fat for like 10 seconds LOL...the movie was all about self acceptance and just adorable. I loved it.

Also woke up an hour early and couldn't fall asleep again, but I don't feel too tired, probably because I've been sleeping over 8 hours a night for the past 4 days LOL...also probably why I couldn't fall asleep- I just wasn't tired!

QOTD: brings me to this--Usually getting plenty of sleep keep my energy boosted...I mentioned it earlier in the week, it also helps keep my anxiety at bay and just makes me feel overall better. I know it's a pretty well known fact that getting plenty of sleep is great for overall health, but I just started really noticing the correlation recently.
Other than that, definitely COFFEE lol.

B: coffee w/half vanilla PP shake, sf pumpkin spice syrup, 1/4 C cottage cheese & diced peach cup (no sugar added)
L: More turkey sausage & Spaghetti squash bake (I still have about 4 more servings in the fridge to get through LOL)
S: 1oz cashews/almonds mix
D: turkey taco salad

hopefully this day goes by fast so it can finally be FRIDAY!

I just started that movie this morning! I am only about a half hour in and will watch it during my workout tomorrow.

I have the soundtrack to Dumplin but haven't seen the movie. I can't wait.

(Also, if you google Dolly Parton/Jimmy Fallon, she had one of the funniest interviews...right up there with the water fight between Fallon and Jason Momoa).

Good morning~ i agree with you Jen - the neverending week, ugh! Stressing out at work due to political/labor issues, picket lines today for my unit, I've been trying to get all my year end work done early since I will be on vacation for Christmas week and into the New Year. Found out yesterday that my sons injury has gotten worse - a new stress fracture and damaged/disintegrating cartilage in his hip (not sure if I am describing this correctly) he is not currently/probably never be fit for full duty again so he is going to be medically seperated from the Marine Corps. He is SO upset and I feel so helpless - I hate this so much - my heart is broken for him - nothing I can do to help or make him feel better - heart wrenching to say the least.

QOTD - I go to bed early - 8pm, lol, seriously. That is what keeps me sane most days but to finish a long, crappy week? Booze!! Haha, no just kidding. I just keep busy really, keeps my mind off things I cannot control and it goes by faster.

Accountability - I had a few hershey's kisses - not sure why they really have no appeal for me.

2 years out - 158.9

b-coffee x3, L&F greek yogurt

l-chicken breast and string cheese

d-chicken breast w/feta, olives, roasted red peppers

es - SF jello

v/l - on track

Have a good day everyone

Me too. I don't know what to do to help get him through this...We pick him up for Christmas on 12/22 and I can't wait to hug him FOR-EV-ER. It's killing me.

I am so sorry to read this update on Jesse's injury, and his future with the Marines. Is he in pain?
