Good Morning Julia and Menu Family! Thank you for starting out the thread, JB! WOW, I can't even imagine your situation at work yesterday! Incredible!

QOTD: Most horrifying experience: I was manager of a Picture Framing shop and a customer brought in a ceramic plaque her sister had brought back from Norway for her. She wanted to get it framed so that "nothing would happen to it". I put a frame on it and started to hammer in a sawtooth hanger on the back of the frame and the plaque cracked in half!!! I had to call the lady and apologize and tell her what had happened. I wanted to DIE!

Most bizarre case: A lady brought in a wreath framed in a shadow box that was all made out of human hair from the pioneer days! They had a loom that would loop the hair into flowers and leaves and every member of the family donated hair for the wreath. There was blonde, brunette, black, red, gray.....all colors of hair in the wreath. It was very unique and fascinating! The glass was cracked and all she wanted me to do was replace the glass. When I took off the old glass, the wreath smelled HORRIBLE! Back in pioneer days they didn't wash their hair very often, plus that hair had been sitting in there for years!

Accountability: I'm sorry I have not been posting regularly on here. Everything just seems so busy this time of year, but I know most of you work full-time jobs, so I have no excuse. I hope you haven't forgotten about me. I have been keeping up with my food logs on myfitnesspal and trying to be "good for Santa". LOL.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: 160 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana

Have an awesome day everyone!

Oh my gosh, the hair...I would be intrigued and creeped out by that both.

Good morning! My posting has been spotty, just trying to figure out my new morning routines, but I'm not currently on my normal schedule since I'm in training.

Guys. I LOVE MY NEW JOB. Everyone legit seems happy to be there, it's very progressive. Their motto that's posted all over every wall is "work hard, play hard, get **** done." And it seems like EVERYONE can kind of jab and joke with everyone and it's super upbeat. The breakrooms are supplied with snacks that are right up my alley--hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese cups, lunch meat, string cheese, zero-cal drinks and all the free Starbucks coffee a girl can want. Lunches are catered in, and so far it's been protein-forward options. Monday was a burger bar (I chose grilled chicken, no bun, with Swiss cheese and pickles) and yesterday was Italian meatball subs and Italian sausage links with peppers. I had a link and a few meatballs (just didn't grab a bun) Im still waiting for that "new hire glow" to fade and maybe I'll notice some flaws, but for now...THERE ARE NAPPING PODS. I'll post some pics for photo Friday.

qotd: nothing that tops yours! I was robbed as a bank teller a few years ago. It wasn't super dramatic though, a woman slid me a note on a deposit slip, and per protocol I gave her what she asked for, including a small stack of traceable $20 bills that every teller kept in their cash drawer, and gave a subtle hand signal to my fellow teller to hit the alarm. The robber didn't even get out of the parking lot.

Menu: 700 gallons of free delicious coffee.

Snack: Greek L&F

lunch: catered. I do wish we had a heads up about the menu ahead of time, but if we do, I haven't found it yet.

snack: cottage cheese cup maybe

dinner: I have a chicken breast marinating
