What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Accountability yesterday stunk. I had a terrible headache yesterday and apparently that makes me want to eat. I found little Hershey bars in the snack closet at work and ate 5 of them then spent the rest of the day feeling even more miserable. Today I'll take my knitting so I stay out of the food at break time. The only thing I did well was a nice walk with Lily. Today will be better--it MUST be. So no--it's not perfect all the time even at 6 years out. Sorry about your day yesterday,JB. It's so crazy it almost sounds like a story line someone made up. I definetely have nothing to top that! Weight today is up at 126.6. Goals today are a good walk with Lily,no snacking except before bed and plenty of liquids. I know I've not been hitting goal there either. Heres the food B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L tuna packet with 1 t mayo and relish D 4 oz smoked sausage 1/4 c broccoli S 3/4 c cheddar cheese popcorn. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

Holy crap JB - your life is crazy!! I simply can't imagine!
QOTD - in the late 90s, there was a very high profile death in the family of my CEO. We were swamped with media, like just trying to get into and out of the office required escorts. We got bomb threats, had media sneak into the building when we had a small fire break out, it was awful. We got revenge, though, during a systems conversion/snow storm day -- we had two buildings facing each other across an alley, we had snow, and we had walkie talkies! So there were people out on one balcony throwing snowballs up in the air (not at horde of media filling the alley, just up in the air) and people in the other building just letting them know where the snowballs landed. Eventually, word made it up to our CEO who very graciously asked us to stop. He's still one of the most gracious and genuine people I know.
I've also had people go to lunch and never come back; had to have a conversation with a woman in our warehouse who would wear short skirts on the lift, sans under wear; had an employee ask if she could bring her mini horse as a support animal, but nothing as crazy as pepper spray.
B - 3.8 oz ground beef; slice cheddar
L - Protein shake and/or yogurt
D - inside of a cornish pasty -- chicken tikka masala, yum. This will be my first time back at this restaurant since surgery, I'm looking forward to it, plus it will be nice to get my workshop team out and relaxing.
Have a fantastic Wednesday all! JB, hope your day is much much calmer...how long til winter break?

Omg you just reminded me of a woman who worked in the warehouse of a beer distributor where I worked through college (best job EVER considering they sold us the dented cans every Friday for the 10 cent deposit only so a case was $2.40!!!). Anyway this woman would wear loose tank tops, NO BRA, and then she would jog through the warehouse and her entire breast would flop out the side! My very kind and lovely and catholic married father of 3 boss was given the task of talking to her about it. I?m sure he was very red! And it didn?t stop! She liked the attention from the other male workers. Oy. So sad.

Oh, that is so bad. People can be pretty odd!

This place is amazing; pretty much if you can think of it, they have likely put it in a pasty.

Hello from the loudest $400/night hotel room in NYC where according to my FitNit, I slept 3 hours and 51 minutes last night. It's gonna be a looong day.
But dayum, nothing like your days, JB. Seriously, this can't go on! I mean, you ONLY ate half a bag of chocolate covered cherries? I'm sure my damage would have been much worse.
And also, I did have to giggle to myself thinking about how tiny you are and how from the helicopters vantage point, you must have looked like a student shepherding out other students lol!
Accountability: considering I'm in food heaven in NYC, could have been much worse. I had my eggs and cottage cheese on the train as well as a little of my deli meat. For lunch I had rotisserie chicken from a deli. Dinner was chips and guacamole (damn you, mynemesis! But I didn't have many of them) and one chicken flauta and half a piece of fish from inside a taco. Not amazing but calorie wise I calculated I was actually ok.
B: half a bagel with cream cheese. I gotta.
L: tuna salad - I always find good tuna here!
D: for some reason I cannot even fathom what to make after I get home and workout. Maybe I will just pass out. Nah, who am I kidding, I'll eat something!
E: 1.5 hour toning/cardio class tonight. It's a good variety class. I hope I get a second wind and manage to go if nothing else, I will tell myself that if I skip it I will have to do saturdays cardio class that I don't particularly love, so maybe that will motivate me! I have to keep up my streak of at least 4 hours of classes at the gym per week
Have a wonderful day, friends!
