Good morning JB and menu crew. Weekend was great here as well, Friday night we went to Burlington VT and we scored some great deals. The crowds were small and it made shopping quite easy. We had $ and % off coupons for Dicks and walked out of there with 3 pair of sneakers for $99. Two of the pairs are mine so I am stoked, I scored a nice pair of Saucony running sneakers in that deal.

QOTD - My kids are older and one of the best gifts we give them each year are tickets and Hotel to see their favorite sports teams. We take Ryley to Buffalo NY to see the Sabres and this year we got Alex Tickets to see the Patriots and Jets play on 12/29, he is going to be pumped up.

B - Protein bar

S - protein shake

L - Left over Ribs

S - Cheese stick

D - Baked cod

E - gym night

Good morning! The weekend was nice. It snowed yesterday and some freezing rain. I am not a fan of winter.

I am off today and going to wrap presents and clean.

QOTD- I just asked my daughter since she is a college student, she said money! LOL

Food plan for today-

2 eggs with crab

Tuna w SG poppy seed dressing, red onion

Halibut with lemon and capers

more crab

I am hoping to get out for a walk today and get some fresh air. Have a great day everyone. Lots of water. I feel puffy today.

Good morning, everybody. I'm excited today because I found out that my sisters and nieces are coming out in June to visit us and see Dead & Company at Wrigley Field. In addition to seeing family and the concert, just the thought of June makes me happy. Today is going to be a busy day.

I went shopping yesterday and learned that I am at least one jacket size larger and one pant size smaller than I was at this weight in my late twenties.

QOTD: My college age daughter likes Kendra Scott and any sort of Candles/Bath Stuff/Face masks, etc. Her and her friends also like anything food or coffee related. Thankfully for her she doesn't have my build. My high school age sons are all technology and gaming. And I can't even buy them video games like I did when they were young because they really just play the same couple of games. Books are always a good choice for all three of them.

Breakfast: Chili

Snack: Light and Fit

Lunch: Fish

Snack: Volpi

Dinner: Maybe more chili

Have a great day, all.

Hi JB - good luck with your meetings today! You will cru**** as always.

I am back to pre-planning and weighing food (like I should have been all this time!) and it feels great, doesn't it?

College aged kids are so fun to shop for since they got nothin' lol! I actually sound like I have zero original ideas since you got all my ideas above. For the girl - face masks, cozy pajamas, a fun goodie bag of popcorn and other fun snack foods. For the boys - food lol!

Time since surgery: a week shy of 5 years

B: my coffee with my measured 3 tbsp half and half and salted caramel sugar-free syrup, 5 oz of lump crab mixed with mayo and Old Bay (that I broiled yesterday, but today it will be eaten cold)

L: 5 oz of lump crab again! So decadent!

S: Mini cucumbers and peppers dipped into fat free plain greek yogurt with powdered ranch seasoning

D: This is a toss-up between leftover Costco rotisserie chicken or leftover turkey chili. Both good options!

Speaking of, in the past I have always bought a rotisserie chicken at Costco, brought it home, and broken it down. Last week, I switched it up and picked up a vacuum packed bag of rotisserie chicken breast (next to the chickens) - 2 lbs for $9.99). It's literally the most delicious chicken breast I have ever had. No more chicken on the bone for me! This made so many meals this weekend and I am going to put the remained in the freezer for use next weekend!

E: I am debating doing one or two classes at the gym tonight - we will see how I feel after the first hour, since my arms are sore from my toning class yesterday.

Have a great day, all!

I know! Crab is so high protein and so delicious! I buy mine at Costco - I normally pick up a pound of the Captain Neil fresh lump crab that is maybe $25 and has a "sell by" of maybe five days out, and a pound of the packaged Phillips lump crab that is much small lumps and the same price but has an expiration date of like five months from now! That way I get crab the same week I go, and have some left for the following weeks :)

Thank you for the crab recipe and specifics, and also for the head's up about the Costco chicken breast! I'm going there on Wednesday and will pick up both of these. Sounds really good!
