What's on your Saturday menu RNYers?
I've never been to the Natural History Museum but always wanted to go since seeing Night at the Museum with my children many years ago. I will try and get a picture for Friday.

Hello my Saturday RnY kindred!
Janet, thank you for starting us off! I'm sorry that yesterday was so long and stressful, but am glad for your DW's good news re: her EEG results and her retina. The Winter's Eve celebration tonight sounds wonderful! I love places like that, and of course events like that! I hope it's not too bitterly cold to go.
I'm going to a Christmas craft fair today at the local county club. I always enjoy craft fairs, especially at this time of year.
I'm sitting here with my little cat Kai purring in my lap. She is so cute! She used to sleep cozily tucked in with her sister Mia, only visiting me intermittently during the night, but for the past several months she has been sleeping curled up and glued to my side. I think this change has to do with Mia's lack of sight and hearing. They still snuggle during the day for catnaps, but the dynamic between them has changed and Kai has become a little less bonded, as has, through no fault of her own, Mia. It's a bit sad.
The scale returned to 133.0 this morning, yay! Only 6 more pounds to go! I'm stopping losing at 127 no matter what, I've decided, and manning up to enter Maintenance!
I got my new driver's license finally - I've been using my California one and it really was time. The new one is so cute! It has a metallic copper Christmas tree on it! Okay, it's an evergreen, but I'm in the spirit! And the copper color coordinates with my hair. Lol! This was the first license in forever in which I didn't significantly lie about my weight. My last one said I weighed 160 when I actually was almost 200 pounds heavier! Good grief! But this one says 130 and that's only 3 pounds worth of a stretch. Plus for once in my life it's a flattering photo! I won't be embarrassed to have to show it to people! That makes me happy. It's the little things!
Tonight I'm going to a potluck Christmas party. There should be something to eat there for me, probably chili or deviled eggs. I will either bring those, or cheese & crackers - keeping it easy!
First: tea and more tea!
B: tuna with a little cheese melted
L: leftover salmon
D: whatever is smart from the potluck buffet
Enjoy your Saturday my friends! Love to you all.
