G'morning JB & menu peeps!

What a great thing, a cheese parade. I can imagine that whole wheel being flown first class! Haha!

I've been in a bad mood the last 3-4 days. My ribs are not getting better and working out is a pain. Not working out is not an option. Cardio alone bores me to death. On Tue at the gym I think I made things worse and I paid for it all day with more rib pain. At night it's very hard to move or not move and sleep is interrupted. I'm a beast when I don't sleep enough, I usually sleep like a baby. Anyway, DH and DS are walking on egg shells and staying away from me because I'm like a fuming dragon.

QOTD: better question is what kind I DON'T like. Blue cheese! Other than that I like all cheese. Fresh buffalo mozzarella is at the top. Caprese is my favorite appetizer when in Italy. Parm cheese is second. I'm already drooling for all the good cheese I'll be having during Xmas.

B: coffee protein

L: tuna + hard boiled egg

S: parm cheese

D: dry bbq ribs (bought at Costco on a whim, very good)

Have a great Thu everyone.

Ribs can take a long while to stop hurting - I'm so sorry you are in pain. I know how disruptive it can be! But Christmas in Italy sounds so beautiful and magical! I'm happy that you are all going! Feel better.

good morning my friends!

I decided to wear a lot of Red today, I guess I was feeling super festive. I realize now that I probably look a lot like Mrs. Claus. (maybe the black boots/red tights/white knee highs? LOL)

QOTD: CHEESE! yes, please! I really like most cheeses except Blue cheese and the really stinky ones. I think my favorite is a super sharp, aged vermont white cheddar (this probably makes me pretty basic but OMG i could eat it every day!)

B: cinnabon flavor coffee w/ half & half & splenda / 1/2C cottage cheese, peach slices
L: leftover thai peanut pork stirfry
S: buddig ham packet & light string cheese
D: leftover chili

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Sorry busy day, so limited post. But I do love cheese. I love Pleasant Ridge and variations of Manchego. Compliance was great and workouts were great. saw ortho yesterday and I have arthritis and not a torn muscle. So no surgery - I guess that is good news.

Good morning! JB -I remember the pic of you and Grim at that festival last year - super cute! Late again, but not as bad as yesterday. It took me 2 hours to get to work today. there was a really bad accident on the freeway which had a semi straddling the concrete median of north and south bound lanes of the freeway! No one was seriously hurt, but what a mess. As Christmas plans w/tons of food keep piling up I am worried about staying on track. If I can get through the Holidays and stay in the 150's it will be a miracle especially considering I'm 159.9 today, but that is my goal.

QOTD - I LOVE CHEESE - all kinds, all flavors, mild to stinky, all of it, can't think of one I don't like!! If I had to pick only one, it would have to be really good extra sharp cheddar - YUM!

Accountability - granola on my yogurt happened - otherwise ok

2 years out - 159.9 -yay

b-coffee x3, L&F greek yogurt, HB egg

l- deli turkey breast, extra sharp cheddar

d-pot roast and gravy

es - SF jello

v-multi x 2, calcium 500 x 2, BF iron chew

l-150+ ounces

e- none - appt after work

Have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone! Happy 6th of December!

I switched out my planned menu for dinner yesterday from salmon to rotisserie chicken. I was out running errands, and waited too long to eat, skipping lunch, and by the time I did eat at around 6, I made the mistake of eating way too fast. Payback was immediate, and I was in awful pain all night long, but finally when I woke up this morning I was feeling ok. At almost 18 months out, you'd think I would have learned never to wolf down my food! Oh well, it was not a good night, but all is well now.

The only good thing resulting from that was that today I weighed in at......drumroll please.......133.0! That's a 2-pound drop, yay! Only 5 more pounds to go! Now all I have to do is remember to never again eat too fast! Ouch!

QOTD: I love the idea of holding a parade for a 400-pound wheel of Italian cheese! Complete with Minutemen and redcoats, no less! I'll bet that cheese is incredible!

I love so many cheeses, too many really to detail here. There was a wonderful cheese store in NYC i remember going to with my dad when I was a kid; he educated me. The only cheeses I shy away from are some of the extremely stinky limbergers, etc., and even those I'm willing to try, though often only once. Otherwise I love all cheese, some more than others.

First: tea, and lots of it

B: salmon

L: tuna

D: eggs with a little cheese

Have a beautiful day today, RnYers!

Congrats on the scale drop! Sorry you had an issue last night and hoping it's all better today. At least when we test things we are reminded that our "tool" still works.
