I think a cheese parade sounds wonderful! I love any kind of cheese except feta. There's just something about the taste I don't care for. Ready for another work day supervising volunteers and keeping them busy and having fun. Accountability was good yesterday on steps and food. Menu changed as we had dinner someplace else but it was still protein forward. Steps good too even though Lily and I only got a very short walk. Weight today 126.4. Today I'll stay moving at work and walk 4 miles with Lily before supper. Heres the food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butterL 2 slices turkey 1 slice cheese 3 grape tomatoes D 4 oz grilled chicken few bites winter mix veggies S string cheese sm meat stick. Now to find some coffee. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

Good morning JB and menu folks. The Cheese parade looks like a fun tradition. Does the town eat the cheese during the festival?

I have been busy since back from my trip, we are co-developing a product with Walmart and am very excited about it, will launch in October of 2019, I will be sure to post pictures as we get close. I have been responsible for sourcing all of the packaging components, bottle, caps and sprayers as well as cartons and displays.

QOTD - "Off the shelf" cheese I really like Cabot - Sharp Cheddar and Jalapeno cheese. We have found a small organic dairy within 45 minutes of our house that makes incredible soft and mild cheese, they make a dill cheese that is to die for, I love it.

B - protein bar

S - Protein shake

L - chicken salad made with costco rotisserie chicken

S - cheese stick

D - Grilled shrimp skewers

E - gym night

Stay healthy my friends, Mike

Hey there friend! I have a Christmas Party tonight that is "Hot Cocoa and Christmas Cookies" ...I feel your pain. It is also a crafty ornament painting party and since my girlfriend and I are the artists we should be busy helping everyone. Really don't want to eat cookies. Not that I won't eat any over this season... but if I eat them by themself when I haven't recently eaten protein and fat etc...I will feel sick. Why eat something that makes you feel sick? That's a rhetorical question of course. Uhmmm...because I used to be SMO and like food alot? As a consolation they said they'd have fruit for those who didn't want cookies :/

Cheese Parade sounds like lots of fun.

QOTD: Hello my name is Cynthia and I am a cheese addict. I could eat cheese at 3 meals a day if I let myself. I have some kind of cranberry goat cheese from Trader Joe's waiting to be dug into. Brie. Yup. Brie en croute? Shut the front door. A good quiche Lorraine full of bacon and swiss? How can it get better? My SIL makes this hot Jarlesburg and Onion Dip at Christmas that is to die for. Favorite just to throw a hunk in my mouth I will go with a good baby swiss.

In general not a fan of 'lite' cheeses but the ones I will recommend are Trader Joe's lite mozzarella - it actually melts and great stats. I also use their 3 lite cheese blend of finely shredded cheddar, colby jack and something else...not as much melty goodness but works. I do buy the lite Jarlesburg slices from Costco. 50 calories a slice and 5g protein. Hefty slice and it works for sandwiches- actually have used 2 as the bread. Ha. Also will melt. Ability to melt is a necessity in a cheese. In terms of brands I like Sargento.

ETA: Because i can talk cheese... We have an Italian market that makes fresh mozzarella and fresh ricotta. Sooo good. Sometimes the mozzarella is still warm in your hands. Did I mention I love cheese?

B: fairlife latte, overnight oats

L: omelette with spinach and cheese :)

D: Salad with chicken- bringing with me to eat during party set-up so I am not eating uber-early and then staring down cookies all night. Maybe I will bring a chocolate premier and heat it up for my cocoa. I think there is a microwave.

S: Blueberries and greek yogurt, protein, apple/fruit

EX: Gym day, and Peach's 100 jack squat challenge (only did 75 yesterday, forgot to do the last 25)

Hi Cynthia - I am going to have to try the Jarlesburg slices from Costco, I swear I have them in my hand on every trip and have yet to buy them, I am such a creature of habit!!!
