I get the grilled fish tacos Mexican, which is no sauce and no lettuce but onions. I eat 1 corn tortilla and take the other taco home, so basically 1-1/2 ounces of fish. I also limit myself to 2 chips with salsa, chips are a slippery slope for me but I know I don't have any room for more. Good luck! I love the ceviche and it is mostly protein and a few good veggies.

Can't go wrong with fajitas either...eat the insides. I made a decision awhile back to not even touch the chips (for awhile I would literally count out 5 that had the most red yummy seasoning on them...but then it was..then 7....well you get the issue here?!?!) and use those times as opportunities to strengthen my willpower "muscle". I know it seems silly.

I went off the deep end a few weeks ago. I was totally craving potato chips and onion dip. So I bought the baked Lays, and fat free sour cream and Lipton Onion Soup mix and had my chips and dip. I would weigh my chips, but didn't stop with 1 oz it ended up being 2 oz and so on. Needless to say I cannot do that again. It is too much like before I had surgery, and felt like I was out of control. I need to just give up the chips even baked ones and quit it.

It's way too easy to get back into bad habits. I promised myself I wouldn't do it, no wonder I only lost 3 lbs last month. LOL but not really funny, just sad. So I am logging it all, no more excuses.

It is easy to let those old habits creep in. They are sneaky like that.

You seem to be back on the wagon with your exercise... good for you.

I know cast iron is trendy but I have had a cast iron skillet in my kitchen my whole life. My Mom has one and as soon as I had my own place I had one. I don't know how you cook without one.

Go buy the Trader Joe's Shawarma Chicken thighs I told you about and crank that baby up.

Good afternoon! I'm so late to the party, but I still want to post. We had a breakfast potluck birthday party for my two Decembers staffers. It started off great - healthy yogurt and berries then the granola bag literally fell all over my bowl and I ate it...Moving on! Rob is having car troubles.... we think he needs brakes the little squeak turned into to scary grinding, and so suddenly, just like mine last month UGH! Anyway - he has a hearing in the Bay area tomorrow and will be renting a car for the trip. His car goes in the shop Saturday, another expense we don't need at Christmas! He's worth every penny though ;)

QOTD - I am in love with my Dyson Animal V10 vacuum - she's a dynamo! I love it more than my Kuerig at the moment which is saying a lot!!

Accountability - good!

b-coffee x3, yogurt, berries, granola - boo

l- Tuna w/SG honey Dijon

d- eggbeaters and salsa

v-multi x 2, calcium 500 x 2, b12 sublingual, BF iron chew

l- 150+ ounces

e-no time today!

Have a wonderful rest of your day!
