AMAW/CAMAW - results/lessons learned

well, of course I can't find my starting weight, but it was 152.. I've been 151.2 for the last couple of days, so I lost between 1-1.5 lbs.
I didn't do pure CAMAW - I let myself eat non-starchy veggies and a small amount of fruit (i.e., a few berries on my morning yogurt). I also kept my calories near the lower end of my range for the week (my maintenance range is 1500-1700), and was successful with that except for one or two days.
I think next time we do CAMAW/AMAW, I'll do another "back to basics". It does reset things and gets me pointed in the right direction again.
I just wish I would drop back below 150. So aggravating! I went from 150 down to 146 in August after my PS, but it's gradually come back up. I'm hoping I'll get another metabolism boost after my surgery on Friday so I can get back down into the mid-140s and KEEP IT THERE!!

It's funny I could have stuffed today but I'm not craving it like I was on the challenge and don't want it. It seem like I didn't need much food either. I did enjoy my apple today.
I had a appointment with my bariatric doctor today, I was still 2 pounds heavier than two months ago. I told her it was better than last week and that I lost 12.2 pounds. I told her I wasn't eating all the junk that I have been.
Imagine if you were 14 lbs heavier today!! So very happy that it was only 2 extra lbs, which is so much easier to get rid of.
You were the Rock star of our challenge.

This morning I feel like I have a true weight (ate on plan yesterday, had good bathroom time, and stayed hydrated). If I use today's weight, I am down 2.4 pounds since last Monday which makes me happy. If I can keep my head in the game, I only have about 3 pounds to go to be back in my optimal range.

Thanks Sheila. I think I do fairly well on CAMAW because I mostly eat that way anyway. I just end up cutting out some of the extras for the challenge but that is enough to reduce my carb cravings.
