What's on your MONDAY Menu, RNYers?
Good morning JB and menu folks. Weekend was great, went to a Christmas party on Saturday it is a great concept. Banquet facility allows companies to pay a flat rate per person for dinner, DJ and drawings. Small companies are able to have employee parties this way, there was over 600 people at this party! We had a great time and danced the night away.
QOTD - I do not usually sit still long enough for movies or TV. Everything I watch is after 9 pm.
B - scrambled eggs with ham.
S - Cheese stick
L - White tuna, light mayo and everything bagel spice
S - Buddig meat
D - left over chicken divan
E - gym night.

Good morning everyone. I'm waiting for it to get light out so I can go on my walk. It looks a little crispy outside.
The weekend was wonderful. We got our tree yesterday in the woods. I love family time together.
My weight was 193 this morning. It's hard for me to write that. I hate that number.
QOTD- No movies recently in the movie theater. I am more of a Redbox rental girl!
Food plan for today-
2 eggs, 1/2 c. Cottage cheese
can of albacore tuna with SG poppyseed dressing
5 oz shredded pork w/ garlic and onion.
Lots of hot tea, water and vitamins on track.
I am really working on being mindful of the food I'm eating. No snacking, no crackers, eating on a schedule. Eating food to nourish my body. I know I am a food addict. I have been praying a lot about it. Praying for strength.
I have also found a counselor that looks promising. I'm going to reach out to him today.
I'm right there with you! Unhappy with the number on the scale and fully cognizant that I am a food addict. While weighing and logging every bite makes me feel food obsessive, I have realized I am not "normal" and can't just eat normal food in smaller amounts. I have to make sure I have what I need. For me, that means chicken meatballs, deli meat, cheese, tuna salad, egg salad made with cottage cheese and a recent favorite snack - mix fat free (or normal) greek yogurt with the packets of dry ranch, and dip mini cucumbers and mini peppers in it! Very satisfying and crunchy! You can do this, as can I. It just takes some effort, some discipline, and believing that we are worthy of good health :)

I struggle with this everyday and sometimes I don't win - more lately it seems...but I keep trying and I won't give up. Hugs to you!!

Mornin'!
pretty lazy weekend here. We did go to a hockey game on Saturday afternoon. Plus I met a friend for yoga & brunch on Saturday, and some other friends for lunch on Sunday. Other than that, not much. I feel like I need to be a lot more productive this week. The fact that I'm headed for Chicago Thursday afternoon for my Friday surgery might motivate me. At minimum, I need to get some Christmas prep done since I don't know how much I'm going to be able to do after surgery.
QOTD: the last couple of movies I saw were Green Book and BlacKKKlansman. There are a handful out now that I really want to see. Seems to always be the case right before Christmas!
Accountability: at the top of my range yesterday for the first time in a few days, but still within range. I'm only down 1.5 lbs for the week (CAMAW - although I do allow non-starchy veggies and very limited fruit (like a few berries with my yogurt), so more like "back to basics"). My goal is to keep up with this since I should be eating like this *anyway*, and I'm also aiming to eat at the lower end of my range rather than the higher end. Too many days at the higher end lately. I got a little bit of a metabolism boost after my last surgery in August - I'm hoping that will happen again as I'd like to get back down to 145-ish (I was 151.2 this morning, Sheila - for the record!)
3.5 year out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with raspberries
MS: coffee with half & half, protein shake
L: homemade cottage cheese
AS: baby carrots & hummus
D: 2 chicken sausages, veggies
Good morning,
I have a appointment at my bariatric center this morning to get my medication for my binge eating disorder.
I'm very proud of myself with last week challenge, I went from 198.6 to 186.4 in a week. 12.2 pounds lost.
Last night I did have a small omelette before I went to bed. I think I'm having some acid issues night time because the other night I almost threw up until I ate something. I'm going to say something to my dr today to see what she thinks.
Qotd the last movie I saw was I can only imagine last April. I only went because my niece gave me a gift card to the theater otherwise I usually don't go to the theater. It is so expensive.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple
D I haven't decided if I want to eat my pork chop or eat at support group tonight
Have a good day
TWELVE pounds!!!
You rock Ms Yvonne!!!
