Guacamole
hi everyone! I had revision from VSG to RNY on November 26. Just a question: are we ever able to eat guacamole (minus the chips, of course)
TIA

When you're early on and working to lose weight, you'll want to maximize your pouch space with protein. So I wouldn't suggest eating a small dish of it, since you want food with at least 10g protein per 100 calories. But you could definitely use it as a topping! I like to mix shredded chicken with a little bit of shredded cheese and guac :)

In weight loss I do try to limit it, since avocados do have high calories, but once in a while is fine. I prefer it mashed up over mayo in many cases (mixed with chicken salad is delish!)

In my experience you'll eventually be able to eat almost anything. Except for really high carb/high sugar foods that will make you sick like a dog. And that's a good thing.
So many crappy foods I have no interest in anymore.
