This MUA is independent. She owns her own beauty salon, and she's done my hair beautifully for a while now. So I don't think there would be an expectation to buy product from her, as she doesn't really sell any. I do have brushes, so I'll definitely bring my own.

I've had my make done at Sephora and at the make up counters. They use their own make up (because they will try to sell it to you) and usually use disposable applicators but not disposable brushes.

Good morning everyone.

Peach, I feel ya! My weight is up and I just feel fat. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin. My winter coat that is a size medium that I wore last year, will not zip. It is all messing with my head and I feel like I am going to screw this all up. It is an emotional rollercoaster. I really need to talk to someone about it.

I am supposed to be doing AMAW this week and I have fallen off the wagon. It could have been worse. I will know better next time to do CAMAW. I apparently have an addiction to cottage cheese. I didn't realize how much I love it. I haven't weighed this week. I am having some serious female issues and I hope that a hysterectomy isn't in my future.

Food for today-

2 eggs with 1/2 c. cottage cheese

Lunch is out, I am thinking Chick Fil A grilled nuggets

not sure on dinner

Have a great day everyone. Be kind to yourself, this journey is hard.

Its a fine line to between a natural progression/redistribution of our weight, and plain old regain from bad choices. Part of me knows we are our own worst critics so it may not really be that bad-- but I also lied to myself for many years over how obese I was. Blah!! (And my size 10 coat from last year barely zips-- but I know I only bought the 10 cause they didn't have a 12, so it was snug from the start.)

sorry about the lady issues- hope there is a non surgical solution!

Good morning everybody. We have a Holiday party for my work group tonight. It's in the city, so we will make the trip in to see everybody. I had ordered some new shirts on Black Friday and I'm hoping that they will come this afternoon so I can wear one tonight.

QOTD: We don't have any pets. I am tempted when I see all of the dogs on this site to think about getting another dog, but we are away a lot and the boarding/care of our last dog was tough.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Lunch: Meatballs

Snack: Light and fit

Dinner: Party for work, will stay protein forward

Have a great Saturday.

Good morning, good morning! Happy Saturday! I have tons of errands, lunch with a friend and then a massage today so it will be busy but good.

So sorry you are struggling with the mind right now Peach; it really does never end but maybe the battles get fewer and far between? Or more far apart at least -- I think that for many people EVERYTHING gets harder over the holidays and sometimes that can make our minds do the wacky.

QOTD - I don't have any pets these days -- my sister's dog Hannah, who I treat like a niece, will sit on the dining room chairs like she's people, if you leave the chair even the slightest bit pushed back. I think she hopes we'll forget she's a dog and let her have dinner, play games, etc.

I am supposed to be CAMAW this week but have done a crap job and I'm just throwing in the towel. I will try it again if/when there's a new round AND i'm home for that week. I just didn't have the willpower to stick to it traveling this week.

Coffee w/ half and half throughout the day

M1 Salad with chicken

M2 burger no bun or instant pot chicken barbacoa if I get motivated (although I travel again on monday so probably not the best time to be cooking)

M3 L&F greek, maybe a cheese snack

Happy Saturday!

Morning! I am trying to keep up my streak of posting on OH every day again. On Tuesday about 50% of my pants were in the dryer and I was too lazy to go get them. Surprise the other 50% of my pants do not fit. Jesus. I have no idea how it snuck up on me so quickly. I mean they all zip, but I felt like a cow and settled for a tent dress to match my feelings.

QOTD: Our two kitties are such strange little brothers. They have never spent more than about 5 minutes apart and they have the most distinctly different personalities. Inigo is an actual scaredy-cat and hides from everything and everyone unless there is food involved, and then he gets brave. He is a bottomless pit for food and would probably be on OH every day if he was a human, haha. His brother Fezzik is a wild adventurer and has no inhibitions. His weirdest habit is to chew through cardboard boxes. He sits inside them and rips them to shreds. Weird cat! He is not interested in actual food, though, and lets his brother eat everything.

B: Coffee Flavored Protein Powder

AS: Low Carb Chicken Nuggets

L: Last of the leftover Thanksgiving Turkey

D: Skirt Steak Tacos (it's happening, people!).

Exercise: I am feeling better, Peach! Planning to join your Jack-Squat challenge today (probably more jacks than squats for day 1) and also do at least 15 minutes on the elliptical machine.

peach, i feel like i wrote your post about the skirt. I had my bariatric surgery party last night and tried on dresses thurday and had a mental episode meltdown. dresses that fit last year didnt and the ones I bought for the event were sleeveless and a little tooooo cold for the event so i was having a real problem. my thighs and butt are no longer tiny so pants that are low rise skinny no longer fit.

I ended up in a long sleeve black dress and looked hawt lol!!! Will add for pic friday.
