Oh interesting! I'm glad that draining the fluids helped, and hope that they can continue to help you heal. Feel much better soon!

Good morning JB, sorry to hear you are still under the weather. I drove 45 minutes to purchase a used treadmill last night, was advertised as a good condition Nordic track, the granddaughter was selling for grandma, she told me it was less than a year old. I got there and asked how old it was and grandma thinks it is 4-6 years old, What??? I get on it and it is hesitating at slow speed but fine when running, they will not budge from asking price of $300 so I leave with no treadmill. I was not a happy camper.

QOTD - Like most my company has a policy for salary and hourly, I am allowed 5 call ins, I do not use them. I live 1.5 miles from the office so weather is never an issue and I am fortunate to not get sick. We are not able to carry over, so most people use them. I will use sick time for Dr appointments.

B- hard boiled eggs

MS buddig meat

L - chicken parm

S - cheese stick

D - homemade meatballs and sauce over zoodles

E - gym night

Good morning! JB I like seeing you around here :)

my 9 month appointment went alright, I was having a lot of anxiety because I haven't lost what I think I should have. The surgeon and the NUT both want me to eat 900-1000 calories (I currently average 700-800) but I'm hesitant to raise my calories since I feel fine energy-wise and I don't believe in a "starvation mode." So I think I'm just going to keep truckin' and maybe reduce my strength and resistance workouts in favor of more cardio.

Qotd: my current job is that we earn 4 hours of Paid Time Off each pay period (biweekly) and if we call in sick we must use 8 hours of PTO. I don't call in often because I feel like I never have the PTO to spare if I have any vacations or appointments that I need to use it for. At the new job I start on the 10th, I'll accrue PTO also (unsure of the rate) but they also automatically give you 80 hours of sick time for the year separate from your regular PTO "bucket." And if you go through that then you start dipping into your PTO. Besides the base pay, the benefits at my new job are also going to be a step above and I can't wait :)

Good morning~ I love the 'do not laugh' haha, adorable! I hope you feel better, Julia! I am home with lovely stomach issues. I was ready to go to work but couldn't get out the door. I finally gave up and called in sick.
Which leads right into the QOTD- I do get a lot of sick days and vacation time (33 days a year). There isn't a big deal made about calling in for my department - last minute or otherwise. No alternative coverage is needed for my staff so it's not a big deal.

If I feel better later I will run some errands - I have Costco, Trader Joes and Old Navy on the list. Decorate the house some more, putz aroun...right now it's tea, couch and DVR.

Accountability - great

2 years out - 155.4

CAMAW - day 4

b- tea, coffee w/hh and splenda, eggbeaters w/salsa

l-pulled pork

d-turkey kielbasa

es-HB egg if needed

v/l - on track

e - no

Have a great day!

morning everyone!

I've been trying to post for the last hour and keep getting interrupted...who do these people think they are expecting me to do my job? haha.

I'm on day 4 of CAMAW...It's going OK.
made the mistake of weighing myself yesterday when I know I should just wait til the end of the week. I was up 1/2 lb somehow. maybe sodium. i don't know but I am not going to weigh again til Monday.

We are taking Story to a "Polar Express" ride on Saturday, which we haven't ever done, but It looks cute and it was only $7 per ticket so we will see how she likes it.
We are also supposed to go to"story time with Santa" on Tuesday night next week, but my sister has not bought the tickets yet so hopefully it's not sold out! it was very cute last year...Mrs. Claus reads some christmas stories, they have a carousel the kids can ride unlimited times and free pictures with Santa, hot cocoa, and they can write a letter to Santa and about 2 weeks later, he sends a customized letter back! very sweet.

QOTD: I've been at my job for 9 1/2 years and our PTO accrues according to service years so I get about 1 day every pay period, almost 2 full days per month accrued. We can pretty much use the PTO as we choose, to cover sick time, vacation, etc. but I don't call in much. I don't get sick enough to not work very often- sporadic colds, but I prefer to save my PTO for vacation days and other things I want to take time off for. we are expected to try calling at least 1 hour prior to our start time so coverage can be arranged if needed, and if we are out more than 2 consecutive days we need a doctor's note...and if it's the day before or after a paid holiday, we will not get paid for the holiday. also once we bank a certain number of hours we stop accruing time so if you don't use it, you lose it!

B: 1/2 c cottage cheese w/HB egg, 1 chicken sausage link, coffee w/half & half
L: crockpot roast beef
S: buddig turkey packet (if needed)
D: leftover ham again

Good morning,

I got to sleep in today. It felt good but I wished it was the weekend today.

Qotd I have to call in two hours before schedule time but that don't mean they will let you off. If you're sick at work, they usually don't let you leave either.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

D pork chops

Have a good day
