What's on your THURSDAY Menu, RNYers?
JG'morning JB and menu pals!
JB - So good to see you, we miss you. Sorry you are sick but I guess dealing with thousands of kids exposes you to tons of germs. Feel better.
My suspicion of cracked rib turned out to be a cracked cartilage at the tip of the rib. Yesterday they took xrays and the doc and radiologist both checked it. Although as painful as a cracked rib it's not as bad as I thought. Doc told me to lay off weight training till Monday and I honestly don't think I can even do cardio, I can hardly stand up without feeling the pain in my ribs. Hopefully the fact of no workouts won't affect my weight loss.
QOTD: I telecommute 100% of the time so even when sick I can walk to my office and sit at my desk. I've been known to have worked through pneumonia. I just brought my laptop to bed. When I plan vacation I just send an email to the powers to be notifying them I'll be out of office and the dates. They know they can reach me no matter where I am.
AMAW day 4
Tons of coffee + tea throughout the day
B: turkey links
L: jalapeño tuna (so spicy)
S: jerky
D: pulled pork
Have a great Friday-eve!

I'm sorry that this has happened to you! I don't think that it will affect your weight loss. Did the docs give you an estimate of how long it takes to heal and feel relief? When I cracked a rib it was sore for quite a while, but not as acutely as yours sounds, just a dull constant pain. I hope you feel better very soon!
He said to wait till Mon and then take it step by step. He said absolutely no pectorals or abs. Honestly it's not that bad, but I don't wanna get it worse by not taking care of it so I'm laying low - exercise wise.

Good morning, all. My three month appointment went well yesterday, the Bariatrician was happy with my weight loss. She isn't going to get pinned down to a goal number and she just wants to focus on resolving chronic conditions. Of course she is right and of course it still bothers me not to have a number goal. She also said that she could notion good conscience, allow me to leave her office without getting treatment for my knees. So I had X-Rays last night and will likely have cortisone shots today. It will be a big relief if they help.
QOTD: We have very generous PTO policies. However, what our policies are mean nothing to our clients and we usually end up at least on calls/emails during time off.
Breakfast: Turkey Meatballs and cottage cheese
Lunch: Ham and cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Dinner: undetermined but on plan
Have a great day everybody.

They did more tests instead of giving me the shot, but one of the tests involved draining fluid, so that actually has me feeling better. I thought for sure that today was the last Doctor's appointment for 2018, but I have a follow-up for my knee on Tuesday.
