I am started over today! Monday/Tuesday we're crap but I have it under control and will make wed-Sunday better!
i weigh everyday when I'm home. I am finding that if I travel all week and can't weigh I get a little antsy (which is its own issue, I imagine). I will stick with the every day weigh in, when possible, until I get to my stretch goals...which seem very far away right now. I try not to focus on the day to day fluctuations but the overall trend for a week/month. Now that the weight coming off is slower, the trend has to be my focus which I think will help build a healthy mindset for the future.

Good for you Jen.
I find traveling is the hardest thing for my eating routine.

checking in late- I posted in the menu thread earlier but this post wasn't up yet and haven't had a chance to check back til now.
I used to weigh daily earlier on post op but now its closer to weekly. I don't have a set day I weigh on, but usually after a few days where I just "feel" like I must've lost weight, I will check LOL...I also tend to get discouraged when I don't see a loss especially after several days, or if I see a gain, even if it's just a pound. I haven't sabotaged myself since surgery though, so that is definitely a change in my habits!
I had leftover ham for lunch today and I don't know if it was that or something else but I had a terrible stomach pain for about 2 hours this afternoon. It's gone now but UGH...may be related to the fact that I took Milk of magnesia last night because I had not been able to go #2 since Sunday and I felt pretty backed up--well I was up all night every hour and through half of this morning in the bathroom...there couldn't possibly have been anything left in there. low carb eating is definitely not easy on my digestion but I usually don't respond that fast or strongly to MOM so I was not expecting it.
I've been using Miralax in my coffee in the morning to try to keep it regular...I guess next time I'll wait another day or 2 before resorting to the MOM.
yesterday: 767 cals/ 18 carbs/ 77 protein.

my "modified CAMAW" is really more "back to basics" (protein forward, non-starchy vegetables, a few berries on my yogurt, 1500 calories, under 80 carbs). So far, so good, although my carbs were closer to 100 today. I normally eat 100-150 carbs a day now (kept them under 80 during weight loss phase), so even "under 100" is an improvement - but I need to be a stickler about this the next couple of days. On the calorie front, I've done amazingly well - but evenings are a huge challenge. I've been drinking lots of water and herbal tea at night. Weight was down 1.4 lbs the first day, nothing the next two - but I weigh the same tonight as I did this morning, so I suspect I'll see another 1-2 lb drop by morning. YAY!!
I weigh myself every day when I'm home. The fluctuations don't bother me. I record my weight in sparkpeople.com on Wednesdays, and on my Excel sheet once a month (on my surgery date), and as long as it remains stable from month to month, I'm good with that! (I've been in maintenance for almost two years)
