What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?

Good morning~ It's raining here, all day, all night and tomorrow too. We need it because everything is so dry but I worry about the fire areas and how it will affect them. My low back is better today, but still stiff. Not sure if I should take another day off from the gym or try to help work it out. I'll see how I'm feeling when the time comes. Yesterday my gym time was spend shopping for a mess of things I suddenly needed that I could have bought on sale Cyber Monday, duh, and I can think of a few other things I coulda/shoulda/woulda picked up!
QOTD - I have just few memories of kindergarten. I went to a Catholic School that year because in VA were we lived they didn't have public kindergarten class for some reason. I'm a lefty and they tried to make me do everything right handed - I think my mom intervened because suddenly I had a special pair of scissors with a green handle and they allowed me to write with my left hand. We also learned French and made ice cream.

Good Morning Cynthia and Menu Family!
My sincere apologies to all of you who have wished me feeling better. This site used to let me know when someone responded to my post and it doesn't seem to be doing that any more, so I had no idea all of you were being so kind and supportive of me not feeling well.
QOTD: What I remember most about kindergarten is that there were two Karens in our class, so the other Karen got to be just Karen, but I had to go by my first and middle name: "Karen Jen". I actually like my middle name but at the time I thought it was unfair. LOL.

Good Morning! Welcome back, I hope you had a great trip.
QOTD: Not at all. I don't really recall most of childhood aside from stories I've been told.
I'm not posting my menu today since much is up in the air based on how my hubby does after his scope. I do have my breakfast with me (which is usually my snack but I'll flip flop today). I got my stairmaster and elliptical done this morning and will be on track with water and vits today.
I hope everyone has a great day!
Good morning! It was a good time to leave Florida as we are having a chilly week. It was 43 when I got up this morning.
QOTD: I remember snippets from Kindergarten. I remember that they let us leave early to go home in the middle of a hurricane (thank goodness my mother found me). Circa 1960! I alost remember being the last in my class to spell my first name because I had to learn the whole alphabet first (Elizabeth - A to Z!).
2 Years 8 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 2 years)
Always lots of coffee...
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: deli chicken and cottage cheese
D: pork roast (?)
S: homemade cottage cheese

Welcome back, Cynthia! I love seeing your beautiful face in your avatar! It looks like you had a great time visiting Lauren and her family. Back to the normal schedule is a good thing :)
So at the risk of sounding like a 90 year old man *****members the good old days, I must say, ohhhhh how I long for those days in the first year where you ate perfectly on plan and dropped 4 lbs in a week! Now, I feel like I am still white-knuckling the carbs away and of course, nothing on the scale. My current ambitious goal is to lose 5 lbs in 3 weeks. We shall see...
But I am killing it on protein!
QOTD: I have vague memories of kindergarten. We got little boxes of milk (of course, I would remember the food! Ha!). I remember we got to sit "indian style" (that's what we called it then, but I surely hope that is no longer the case and it's now called "cross-legged" or something) and listen to stories. I vividly remember when a girl raised her hand during story time and the teacher said "NOT NOW, it's story time" and when story time wrapped up 10 minutes later, the girl was allowed to talk...she had thrown up inside her crossed legs and had been asking if she could go to the bathroom :( Poor girl. I wonder if she ever thinks about that...
Time since surgery: in three weeks, it will be my five year surgiversary! EEK.
B: 5 oz lump crab, 1 tbsp of mayo, lots of Old Bay - eaten cold! After my coffee with half and half and Splenda
L: One hard-boiled egg mashed with 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, half a can of tuna mixed with mayo and pickles
D: One Aidells jabanero chicken sausage, one Trader Joe's apple chicken sausage. I will make a side of Trader Joes riced cauliflower stir fry from the frozen section for Kris (I swear, he thinks it's rice and just eats whatever I put in front of him) and may have a bit myself
If I eat those three meals and snack on Boars Head Ever Roast deli chicken and a slice of cheese (the witching hour for me is circa 5 pm I "need" a snack), my totals will be 1,210 calories, 116 g of protein which is insane for me, 74 g of fat (umm, a little high, thanks mayo), 26 g of carbs.
E: A 1.5 hour toning/cardio class at the gym tonight
V: I'm on it!
Have a fab day, everyone!

My niece told me that sitting cross legged is caked sitting tailor style now. I've never seen a tailor work so not sure if that's really how they sit!
