It's literally the juice from a jar of sugar free bread and butter pickles!

LOL. I pictured it as bread (toast) with butter and then you pour pickle juice on it! It didn't sound good

The scale finally moved in the right direction today, even though it was .4lbs it makes me feel better. It's been over a month since I've gone down, for a while there I was up almost 5lbs. I've been trying to focus on protein and spending at least 30 minutes on the treadmill most days. I also try to get up from my desk during the day and walk around the building. It helps with my focus as well, staring at a computer screen all day is actually fatiguing.

QOTD- I try to donate money to Sea Shepherd when I can, and have donated lots of clothes to Goodwill this year. But somehow it never seems to be enough. There is always more need than there is help to be had. I used to volunteer at Cat Adoption Team but I just wanted to bring most of the cats home, and I just didn't have the time.

Have a good Tuesday everyone!

Just a quick note, how much are you drinking each day? As time went on I had to drastically increase my fluid intake to keep losing. Just a thought.

we used to foster cats for our local humane society - until we ended up with eight of them because we kept adopting them all!! So I get it!! I'd totally want to bring them home if I worked with the Cat Adoption Team, too!

Hi there, I've been lurking for years but am back posting again. I actually used to lead this thread...way long ago like 4.5 years ago! It's always been interesting for me to read it and get to know people (virtually) but for the last year or two, I've felt like seeing my menu isn't helpful for people in the weight loss stage. Well, as I have 25 lbs of regain to tackle, here I am. Stay vigilant, folks, that's all I can say!

Time since surgery: 5 years next month

B: Coffee with half and half and Splenda (bye bye delicious flavored creamer and damn you for sneaking in those calories and carbs), 1 slice havarti cheese, 2 oz Boar's Head Everroast chicken deli meat, 1/4 cup 2% cottage cheese

L: 2 hard boiled eggs mashed with 1/4 cup cottage cheese and Everything But The Bagel spice, a cup of tomato soup

D: 5 oz lump crab mixed with mayo and Old Bay and broiled in the oven. This is a 16 oz container of crab from Costco and it makes a good 3 meals. Will be breakfast the next two days.

E: rest day today - did Toning classes Sunday and last night and my muscles are sore. Will do 1.5 hour toning and cardio class tomorrow and boxing class Thursday. My current goal is 4 hours of intense gym classes per week.

Totals are 82 g protein, 72 g fat, 47 g carbs and 1,140 calories. I can lose on this many calories - I was maintaining around 1,800 and then gained so I have to cut back pretty drastically for a while.

V: Multivitamin, D, and Calcium all on track

W: I drink at least 3 32 oz Camelback jugs of water per day

Have a great day, everyone!

ETA: I donate to Planned Parenthood and UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency) and every Christmas we adopt a family and make sure our kids understand how fortunate they are - this year, the family asked for winter coats, winter boots, books, diapers, and learning toys :( Of course I went above and beyond and I think they're going to have a great Christmas!
