What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning! Yesterday was super boring at my work as I'm not trained in much so I feel like I'm just scrounging for things to keep me occupied.
qotd: I donate money and time to a project here in Omaha called The Big Garden. They offer beginning gardening classes for kids and families and encourage people to learn how to grow their own food. They do a sale/fundraiser in the spring selling started plants, and anything I don't start by seed myself I buy from them.
Breakfast: black coffee
snack: 2 oz deli turkey
lunch: 4 oz chicken breast with SF bbq sauce
snack: 2 oz deli turkey
dinner: STEAK :)

People were surprised and probably a bit put off that I put in my notice on day 2 of training, but nobody has said anything negative (at least to my ace.) the ladies I was training directly with understand that it's nothing to do with them or my liking the new role, the other job is just a better $opportunity$ ;)

I just sent a donation to the organization my two youngest children were adopted through: Wide Horizons for Children (Waltham, MA). They do a lot of good work throughout the world to support children in need in addition to finding homes for them. PayPal is matching donations made today to qualifying organizations.

Morning everyone.
CAMAW yesterday was successful...no extra snacks and I ended up not eating my snack at all actually, but ate a cheeseburger patty for dinner so it was higher in cals and made up for the no snack.
I forgot to charge my fitness tracker watch last night so it's about to die now...so weird how I feel like I am missing something when it's not on!
I got some great deals on Cyber Monday yesterday and ended up buying a majority of Story's christmas gifts online for under $150 so that is awesome considering our limited budget this year. She is only 4 so I don't think she would know the difference if we spent $500 or $50...but I like being able to get things I know she will love.
QOTD: We don't regularly donate money to charity...mostly because we really don't have a lot to spare, but we do donate most of our used clothing/old kid's toys and other household items to the Sparrow's Nest, which is a local thrift store that actually donates 100% of it's profits to Women's shelters which I think is great. We've also always adopted our pets from animal shelters and my sister fostered dogs for several years so we donate pet items to that organization whenever we have extras.
CAMAW day 2:
B: Coffee w/Miralax & half & half, HB egg mixed w/1/4C cottage cheese and 1 chicken bf sausage link
L: 3.5oz turkey breast chopped up w/1tb olive oil mayo
S: 2 turkey meat sticks
D: DH is making his free "holiday ham" tonight- he gets one from his job every year, which is always incredible...kind of perfect for CAMAW week! so we will be eating that for dinner :)

Good morning~ I am sore today, especially my low back. I think it might be from my workout last night or my working weekend caught up with me. I think I will give my body a break from the gym tonight and do some stretches at home. All I ended up buying online for Cyber Monday were some Christmas movies on Amazon so my wallet is happy for once!
QOTD - I give when I can, wherever I can. I am partial to animals, veterans and food banks
Accountability - great
