No closer to knowing what is going on

sorry for it being so odd looking, cut/paste doesn't work so well when going from my med chart to here. But I hope it is understandable. I see my main doctor, and I have seen the doctor that looks after the cases for the surgeon. She isn't quite sure what else to look for at this moment.

We have done an EGD it came back normal. I have had CT with/without contrast. It came back normal except for some slight abnormality near my liver. So we did MRI w/without contrast of abdomin/liver area. But apparently that came back normal. I have had ALL of those blood/urine cultures done.

However one thing I have noticed every time I get my blood work done is my blood protein lvl is high, and my iron saturation % is low. I'm not sure what to make of this. My iron levels are good as you can see. And how is it that cholesterol is sitting at 200 when I literally am eating maybe 3 oz of food a day? The rest of what I'm getting in calories is premiere protein, or I just drink water. See what I mean by this is just making absolutely no sense to me?

I am 9 1/2 years post RNY. I had nausea issues and gastroparesis before RNY and I continue to deal with those to this day.

I have food limitations (gluten free and reactive hypoglycemia). I get nauseated after every meal. I have to eat moist foods or I often vomit them back up. ( I don't eat fried food, oily food or any fast food). I put some kind of sauce or dressing on meats. I eat vegetables that are moist (yellow/red/orange peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, tomato or cooked vegetables, etc.) Dry vegetables like raw carrots, radishes, even celery will usually come back up or cause much mucus, gagging, etc. I tolerate most fruit- berries, pineapple, kiwi, mango, melon - things that are moist and lower on glycemic scale.

I drink a hot protein drink every morning and have done that for 9 1/2 years. I usually eat the same things over and over - those things that over the years seem to cause me less problems.

I try to sit still for 20-30 minutes after every meal (even liquid protein). I take Designs for Health Digestzymes before every meal and chew 4-5 American Health chewable Super Papaya Enzyme Plus tablets after every meal. These help aid digestion. I get them from Amazon. I also take probiotics twice a day.

If the nausea is bad, or I need to be out and about I take Compazine (prescription) for the nausea.

I have heartburn, but no reflux, and take over the counter PPI for that.

I bought an electric bed about 11 years ago and sleep with my head elevated about 30 degrees and that also helps with the nausea.

If you have any questions, please ask. Hope it helps to know that "life goes on" in spite of not enjoying eating that much any more.
