It's almost 6:45 on the East Coast and no one has started the thread, so here I go.

I am starting CAMAW today along with others starting AMAW. Good luck to us all.

QOTD: How many of you shop on Cyber Monday? I don't usually. I am not sure that I will today either. I definitely do not have time when I am at school to shop that's for sure but I saw on the news this morning that many people shop on company time.

11 months out (today) weight 163.5 (finally broke a month-long stall)

M1: coffee and then 100 calorie greek yogurt & HB egg

M2: PP chocolate shake

M3: 3 ounces grilled chicken thigh

M4: cheese stick

M5: chicken burger

All vitamins and trying for 100 ounces of water today.

Have a great Monday!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Good morning! I'm a bit anxious about what they'll do to me at work today since I turned in my 2 weeks right before I left for vacation. I'm not yet trained at my new role, though I am being paid for it. In a previous job I was let go after putting in my 2 weeks, though in Nebraska employers still have to pay out the two weeks if they decide to not have the employee work out their notice. I'm not sure if that will happen since my new team is behind on some tasks.

qotd: I browse deals but nothing serious. I'm working usually and can't use my work computer for personal use

Menu is AMAW

breakfast: black coffee

snack: 2 oz ham with mustard

lunch: 4 oz chicken breast with buffalo sauce

Snack: 2 oz ham with mustard

dinner: salmon

It is very unprofessional for a company to let someone go when they give a notice. I would hope your company does not let you go.

Eh. The one time it happened to me it made a lot more sense to just let me go and not have me work out my 2 weeks because the company was transitioning and I would have been shuffled to a new team that I wasn't trained in...I would have been spending my 2 weeks either training for a job I wouldn't do or doing grunt work. Which is kind of my current situation--I'm not trained in my new position. Since Nebraska law is to pay out the 2 weeks regardless, it's no skin off my back.

that's what I was going to say - that sounds really unprofessional to let you go after you send in a two-week notice!

Lol if it meant missing pay, I'd agree. Since they have to pay out either way, it would just mean an impromptu vacation before I start my new job :P

We only let people go if they are going to a direct competitor and we are worried about loss of intellectual property, but if you can get two weeks off paid before you start your new job I say enjoy the vacation.

Good morning menu friends! We got to our destination yesterday and got things set up just before the rain started. We had snow overnight and Lily and I have walked 15 minutes in it. It's too dark to do our long walkk so that will be before supper after work is done. I'm a bit nervous about work today as it's a new job for me but I'm sure it will be fun and just fine. I will not let the nerves translate to eating though. Exercise later will be an hour walk and heres the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3 thin slices deli turkey 1 slice cheese D 4 oz roast beef with mushrooms S string cheese 1 slice turkey. Accountability yesterday was fine but I ended up not eating lunch as I was busy at the time. Weight today was 126.4--at least it's headed down! Coffee time now! Have a great day full of smart choices everyone. We've ALL got this!
